Really you don't even need to check this thread that often, anything of potential interest would be reported on the front page. We'll certainly notice when anything significant is announced.

Have you noticed how the "big" whistle blowers all dissappear the closer to the reveal we get. 10k, Emily Rogers etc go very quiet and stop giving in depth details like full lists of specs and launch lineups etc.
SURELY their "developer friends" would have more info now

Yes, logic would dictate that they would have more information the closer to release we get. Not that I've put stock in any rumours that have been peddled.

They give such big lists of info that some things are bound to be right. Then they go quiet (I suposed they feel like a gambler waiting for the roulette wheel stop) and when NX is finally revealed they can puff out their chests and strut around like they made the bloody thing, if they get a couple of things almost right. (Never spot on as they obviously will blame early development kits for not being the final product).

But back to my point, he still hasn't leaked any real info for a couple of months. I see his name pop up to comment on Gaf posts but nothing news worthy.

I had this dream last night where that the NX reveal had to be unlocked. The unlocking conditions were that a certain number of people had to 100% complete Star Fox Zero and Star Fox Guard but were not mentioned (only Nintendo knew these conditions).

October passed and there was no info, November also passed with no info but at the same time that bundle pack (SF0 + SFG) was discounted heavily especially on Black Friday week so the desperate Wii U fans who had nothing left to look forward to decided to give it another try. By February the unlock conditions were met and the reveal happened.

The reveal was mostly positive though most of the fanbase had gone completely insane from no info.

When NX turns out to be the next must have peice of tech he'll be releasing games on it.
Plus watch dogs and assains creed arent my kinda games anyway. Black flag was OK on WIIU, for about an hour, then it was back mario for me. Zombi U I felt was nearly there as a game, but a more of a tech demo I felt, I spent more time just shouting "look at the game pad, the thing your hand, touch the screen" to my friends whilst they tried to play it.

Waiting for the NX revel is like waiting for Brexit, by the time it's announced people won't care.

@PlaytendoGuy I'm not sure comparing the wait for the NX reveal is like waiting for Article 50 to be activated. But I think know what you are trying to say. Though people will always care about the NX reveal, just depends on how much they care and that's all about whether Nintendo reveals it before the big holiday season hits or if they use "Nintendo Logic" and do so at a time when everyone's attention is elsewhere.

i think if the reveal isn't announced by the end of tomorrow est, tomorrow being nintendo's bday, then the reveal probably ain't this month.

Next week. Maybe an announcement on Monday and reveal Thursday.

It's not worth going on past reveal/launch dates as it means nothing.
Common sense (or pure desperation) tells me that retailers and devs have now seen it, following up from the gathering in Europe and Devs signing NDAs and tweeting about it. So let's get the weekend out the way, get news on Monday, with a direct on Thursday. If it's not this week it will be the next on the same days.

I reacon that the retailers gathered in Europe have seen the pre recorded direct we will see on Thursday.

@DjLewe78 plus if its indeed coming out in march production is probably starting by november since retailers probably need them in their warehouses by february. and don't want any foxconn employees leaking either. they don't give 2 poops about ndas and such. they have the least to lose.

Is there any actual evidence that shows European retailers have been to this meeting in Germany or is it just rumours?
