Seems odd that they'd re-release the first Dark Souls game on PS4/X1, then separately re-release the whole trilogy just five months later. At least that means there's still a chance they could bring the trilogy to Switch later on.
Well, that's a big ol' slap in the face for any people holding out for the Switch version. Maybe it'll get the trilogy in 2019 and release at $60 while the other versions are $20 to really cement that whole Mass Effect de ja vu lol (though that was arguably worse since it was one $60 game versus a cheaper trilogy)
@gcunit Kinda glad I didn't buy DS remastered earlier this year. A three-disc compilation of all three games, yeah, I'd like that (see Activision, that's how you release three games if they don't fit ). All we have to wait for the the official confirmation and the price. Is €60 too much to ask? It's probably around €80.
Saints Row The Third has been announced for Switch.
An awesome announcement. Personally, Saints Row: The Third isn't a top-five PS3/360 port request, but it's a welcome addition none the less. Now I just need Dead Island from Deep Silver. Make it happen, THQ Nordic.
Switch Physical Collection - 1,251 games (as of April 24th, 2024)

I'm a little over seven hours into Okami HD now and just cleared the game's first main dungeon. It's getting better (putting aside the fact that I immediately started enjoying the game 10x more after I found out that I could disable the horrendous voices that made even the annoying nattering of Yooka-Laylee characters sound like a chorus of angels in comparison), and I'm definitely seeing why the Zelda comparisons are made so often now.
I don't care much for playing this in the dock, though. It's a little amazing to realize this is the first time the original game has officially released on a touchscreen enabled device, as this very much feels like a game designed to run on a Nintendo DS/3DS. The painting just feels... natural with the touchscreen, but very awkward with the controller or motion controls.
@Knuckles-Fajita I've played the game several times. I know what you're talking about. But it's kinda spoiling the moment for someone who openly says they're playing it for the first time.
And I disagree. Whilst the first hour is an absolute slog, the game picks up after that and gets better over time.
Hell no. I'd rather be dead and forgotten than noticed by you lot. Peace and quiet.
(That's sarcasm, in case you couldn't tell. You're all lovely.)
I have an opinion. You may not like it, but it's mine. This is a place to voice that. Free internet. Get used to it.
I like to my think my lack of optimism is simply a different view point on things. For some people it's hard to always be hyped for something and always super excited for the next thing, so I don't try. I'm too laconic. I am excited for things I just...don't particularly voice that opinion. The most you get is a "That's cool" and I move on with my life until release when I will return and enjoy the experience in question.
@Knuckles-Fajita your more than entitled to your opinion feel free to voice it like we all do just saying the whole doom and gloom thing gets a bit old after a while.
There's a lot to be optimistic about with Nintendo these days just think it's important to remember that when everyone sees the same people complaining on an daily basis.
@bluemage1989 exactly! Not every post has to snarky and negative and complaining and combative. Sure not everything is perfect and always the way you want but damn find some enjoyment sometimes. I'm not some polliana always sunshine and roses type of person but just don't let EVERYTHING bother you is all I'm saying.
