So can we get EA to maybe move Frostbite now? Or maybe that new CoD isn't so unrealistic?

Or you know...that one guy from Respawn who wrote the system off? Can we get an interview with him?

I think people REALLY underestimate what this system can do. I mean this is a brand new engine and its supported. Sure some longer in development projects cant come and some REALLY high ambitious stuff wont....but now we see who is in and how is out.

And who is lying through their teeth about trying to see if Frostbite works...

Doom Eternal is coming to Nintendo Switch

Awesome doom eternal has been announced for switch. Should stop the silly doom never did so well on switch blah blah rubbish you see on the internet.

I could understand Skyrim VI, but I've been saying from its announcement that Doom Eternal was almost certainly coming.

They said they have more games, they said they want to build brands with Nintendo fans, they have a studio with experience who specifically stated they were working more closely with Bethesda during development to help keep Switch in mind when making design and programming decisions...

The writing was on the wall. I'm willing to bet Fallout 76 comes as well, and Wolfenstein Young Blood.

Panic button is going to be the go to dev for switch ports its seems. I do hope they beef up staff if 3rd parties aren't going to port themselves so we can get more games.

Fallout....oooh tough call there. It'll be a late port if it is and it's scope maaay just eclipse what Switch can do. Or it couldn't, its hard to say how full the world will be.

Were Nintendo Life not watching? Great to see Doom Eternal announced for Switch even if I'll likely get it for PC but still good to see Bethesda supporting the Switch

As long as the game is as good as it can be on Switch, it doesn't matter if it's not up to the PC version. It's in great hands with Panic Button.

God only knows what they're doing. Maybe they're trying to see if Luigi is ok now or locating more locations in Fortnight......

@carlos82 Nintendo Life aren't the fastest as getting news articles up. But I think being the time of day it is in the UK probably doesn't help though they do have US based writers.

I am very excited to see Doom Eternal not just coming to the Switch but being announced at the same time as other platforms, not a Nintendo Direct or a whole year later or anything.

I trust Panic Button to pull out another superb port and am interested to see how the new engine has been designed to take advantage of the Switch hardware in terms of scaleability etc.

@FragRed were Panic Button mentioned? It would be the logical choice unless of course they make a Switch version from the ground up in house alongside the other versions

@carlos82 Panic Button weren't mentioned but they did retweet a couple of tweets, one before and one after the showing. But yes, it still doesn't outright confirm they are involved but one would assume it's, as you said, the logical choice.
