Valkyrias one million sold is far less than what total war sold for example, another franchise published by Sega.
A port of a several year old console strategy game is less popular than new releases of one of the last remaining big PC strategy series that actually had a marketing campaign going into its release? Wow, that sure means...nothing that helps your point.

I used total war as an example because it was published by Sega. On the top of my head, civ, XCOM, anything from paradox interactive, galactic civilization and endless space are also bigger, some of them are vastly bigger. And when they come to consoles, they usually fare worse. There is a reason the
I don't see why that is so hard to believe? PC gaming are very diverse, much more than consoles. Sure, you have graphics nerds, you have your first person shooter crowd. And those are the once that often clash with console owners. But that is far from all PC players.
One of my disappointments with Wii u was that when a console finally got an acceptable input method for grand strategy games, it bombed.
whoops, thought the Messenger was out so I got an eshop card. No way I'm going to be able to sit on that money...but I'll try.

"There is a reason the" what? There is a reason the port of a several year old game sold incredibly well? There is a reason the sky is blue? There is a reason the Suicide Squad script was a mess? I mean cmon why the incomplete sentence...unless...

Hollow Knight is on sale for $9.90 on the US eShop.
Awesome! I was already thinking about just taking the plunge at regular price, but now that it's on sale I'll get it for sure. I hope I don't suck at it. If I start complaining about difficulty just tell me to "git gud"

@kkslider5552000 meh, I was going to say something, but it was redundant so I deleted it. And sometimes when you do that on a phone on Nintendo life's forum, a part of the sentence is left.
But I guess you had no argument since you felt compelled to ignore the rest of the post. I really don't see the controversy in saying strategy is bigger on PC than consoles.

...I don't remember saying it wasn't?
...what are you talking about?
...who are you?
seriously i was just tl;dr this thread and pointing out how clearly desperate strategy game fans are in a world where some of the largest games and developers of it have vanished or moved on based on what I've heard from several very knowledgeable PC centric gamers and critics over the years
generally speaking, 1 million+ sellers for non-mainstream games ported several years after their launch are because of lucking into some popular internet people loving it and/or reaching an audience that other games are not. So I put two and two together and figured that the gaps in strategy gaming on PC were being filled by this game.
@RR529 I was interested but after watching the video I must say I was not impressed. Looks like a mobile game part and an iffy one at best. The sight of P-51Ds and F4U's on the ground at Pearl Harbour was the final straw for me. The explosions were also horrendous and the rolling looked way off axis. Its still January 2019 I guess to scratch that itch.
I am enjoying my Nintendo Switch, but lately I have been having problems with it connecting to the internet. Some people say the reason for that is because the Nintendo Switch has a bad WiFi chip, but somehow, I doubt that's the case. Even my PS4 is having trouble connecting to the internet and just being slow. And even my iPod is having some issues with connecting to the internet when playing Final Fantasy Brave Exvius.
I think imo the reason for that is my current new wireless network that my parents and I switched over to. It is a hidden network that I have to enter manually, at first, it didn't cause any problems when I first used it, but now it is.
@IceClimbers So tempting....yet....physical is coming....and I still have GCU....
I for one am not waiting till spring and even if it's $30 that's still $24 as oppose to $10......$14 to not wait and I'm not see how this math helps. If it was coming out physical a month after launch then $15 and $24 makes more sense to own physical.
