BWHAHAHA I hope Capcom didst shoot themselves in the foot with all the PR dancing they did over XX. MonHun isn't my cup of tea and I didn't enjoy the demo so I'll be passing but I'm happy for those that wanted it!

@DarthNocturnal Lol, it took me a minute to realize you were talking about Monster Hunter. I thought you were talking about Sonic Generations and Sonic Lost World. 😂 It’s pretty obvious I’m not a Monster Hunter fan.

AAA games are not really important in my opinion.
Even some lower classes games (Indies , A, AA level games) are better than typical AAA games.
Personally, I don't base my purchase on a game being a triple A title either. I'm just addressing TheLobster's post on why many gamers would say that there are no games on the Switch.
The problem with Nintendo always has been its family/kid oriented image. Many of these triple A titles now carry a M rating and because of Nintendo's reputation and it's perceived fans, 3rd party publishers are hesitant to also simultaneously develop a triple A title along side Sony and Microsoft consoles.
As an example, Capcom took a chance with the 3DS early in its (3DS) existence. It produced a quality console game titled Resident Evil Revelations for the 3DS. In fact it got special permission from Nintendo to make allowance for the increase memory it would require. A year into RE:R's existence, Capcom was interviewed whether RE:R 2 would follow. Capcom stated that they were disappointed with the sale numbers (they broke even by then) and RE:R 2 would instead go to Sony's and Microsoft' consoles.
I'm hoping that 3rd party ports such as DOOM and Skyrim will be successful enough to get major 3rd party publishers to seriously consider making triple A titles for the Switch. With Bayonetta 2, Nintendo seem more inclined to shed its family friendly image and that may make 3rd party publishers take notice.
