@Ralizah The only way to manage something like that (as far as solutions I can come up with anyways), would be to build a program (or a function in steam or the like) that takes the inputs from the two separate controllers and merges them into a single virtual controller that's sent to the game. Well, that or native support within the games, but we know that won't happen.
I think I'm gonna cancel half of the games I have preordered, anything that's not top shelf, must have in the collection...
And start buying gold and silver coins. My constant need to spend spend spend, along with a hobby that goes hand-in-hand with that spending, would be served very well stacking gold and silver coins where I'm spending without really spending, so to speak. I'm looking at my 60 physical Switch games thinking... why. Those games aren't going to be worth anything if I ever decide I don't want them, and most of them I'm never going to get around to playing anyways. Wouldn't it be better to take that money and start stacking up full 1 ounce gold and silver American Eagle coins? That way all the money I spend is actually being invested and secured.
Ya... I think it's time to have a side hobby besides gaming, and something to buy besides Switch games.

"One important point confirmed during the stream: Ys VIII runs at 30 frames per second on Switch. There has been some debate about the action RPG possibly running at 60 FPS, but NIS America has confirmed otherwise."
So it's confirmed that it'll be running at 30FPS at the video footage ^^
Eh, no biggie. The Vita version is 30 FPS. As long as this port isn't a dumpster fire like the PC port and maintains a steady framerate, it'll still be fine.
Metroid, Xenoblade, EarthBound shill
I run a YouTube/Twitch channel for fun. Check me out if you want to!
Please let me know before you send me a FC request, thanks.
It will stick around as long as it sells. But it doesn't mean they will produce any more big games for it nor does it mean there will be anymore hardware iterations. What was the last Nintendo developed game for the 3ds? Not just published, but also developed by them?
@Therad Isn't that new WarioWare game by Nintendo? They are listed as developing it alongside Intelligent Systems. They are also co-developing Sushi Strikers with a company called Indieszero. So though not outright developing games, they are still very much involved with at least 2 games. Though they are certainly small/cheap titles.

@Therad The last game as of now is WarioWare Gold in three months, developed by Nintendo EPD. Before that is Captain Toad in two months (also EPD), Then Mario Party the Top 100 (ND Cube, who is part of Nintendo) last December. Before that it was Miitopia back in July last year (EPD again). So... technically not that long ago
3DS will be in production longer post-generation than the WiiU was as current gen. Remarkable. People really underestimate just HOW prominent 3DS has been. Switch will best it. But it's been amazing.
@link3710 All ports / dual releases / compilations. So essentially Nintendo have stopped bringing original content to the 3DS. Makes sense that they'll continue distributing it while it still sells, but I'm happy to see all of their creative effort moved towards the Switch.

Thinking that the Donkey Kong DLC for Mario + Rabbids is gonna be shown off at Ubisoft's E3 conference as one of those "available right now" things.
Agreed but replace Ubisoft's E3 conference with Nintendo's E3 Video Presentation. DLC with Ubisoft E3 generally tends to be year long expansions, not single pieces of DLC meanwhile with Nintendo's E3 Video Presentation being 2018 only they've got fill the gaps somehow.
I remember being pretty pessimistic about last year's E3, thinking that Nintendo would take up large amounts of time talking about DLC for presently released games and then talk about ports and was actually pleasantly surprised with how much new content they showed versus talking about DLC and ports.
