On another note, we're getting more games from Tomorrow Corporation (Who has made World of Goo, Human Resource Machine, and Little Inferno)
"Tomorrow Corporation has pulled back the curtain on Welcome to the Information Superhighway, which the developer says is “shaping up to be one of the more game-like games we’ve made.” We only have this tease thus far and a few pieces of concept art:
What is this internet highway all the kids are faxing about these days? Can I go on an incredible road trip and make lots of broken new friends along the way? Isn’t Tomorrow Corporation made of three grumpy old people who don’t know how to use social media? Yes!"
The concept art actually looks very interesting :0
Edit: Note: It's not officially said for Switch yet
@Blathers Just sayin' I know it doesn't really mean anything...but it's not like it'd be totally out of the question to see him on Switch
EDIT: Doesn't matter anyway - I see that they're confirmed exclusive characters...and - as stated - the game will be cheaper on other platforms too **Grrrr!**

I thought this might be alright but then I read the description.
Coming really, really soon to Nintendo Switch.
Infernium, a non-linear first person survival horror. Dive in an interconnected beautiful portrait of hell, die in a prison without bars and overcome a brutal penitence. An agonizing anxiety-inducing experience that will shake you to the core.
From the creator of the multi-awarded indie game of the year MIND: Path to Thalamus. Published by Undercoders, creators of Conga Master and the world wide acclaimed Superola and the Lost Burgers.
Running at native 720p 30fps on Nintendo Switch.
Superlola and the Lost Burgers, worldwide acclaimed? Hahaha
More interesting data has emerged from that Famitsu poll I posted this morning.
JAPANESE SWITCH OWNERS SHARE THEIR OVERALL SATISFACTION WITH THE DEVICE, PRO CONTROLLER ADOPTION RATE, PHYSICAL/DIGITAL PURCHASES, AND MORE
Yesterday we shared data from a Famitsu survey concerning the Switch online service, as well as favorite and most-wanted games for Switch owners in Japan. Today we have a few more tidbits from that survey.
Switch owners have an 83.39 overall satisfaction level with the console (76.56 with current software and 87.46 with hardware)
49.3% of owners have a Pro Controller
52.3% do not use Video Capture
54.6% buy predominantly packaged software with 12% purchasing predominanty digital
33.4% play mostly in TV mode with 20.5% mostly Portable
If you want/need a second controller, it's cheaper to buy the Pro controller than a second pair of JoyCon. Plus, even if they were the same price, you'd buy the Pro Controller just for maximum flexibility.
I'm not sure if you're reading too much into it or what. And why single out that one statistic?
I thought the "33.4% play mostly in TV mode with 20.5% mostly Portable" bit far more interesting. Shows that 46% in the middle are using the hybrid nature to its fullest. And for Japan, you'd expect portable mode to be more prevalent.
Did anyone really expect to see tomb raider on switch. I don't believe for one minute that anyone thought this game was coming.
You wanna play tomb raider then you gotta get a PC, PS4 or Xbox one folks.
To be fair it is a pretty resource efficient series. The Switch got Doom so anything is possible really. Though if we were to get it a port of the original would've been more likely

Shape of the World - Teaser trailer: A first person exploration game.
Shape of the World confirmed for Nintendo Switch
Shape of the World will see you sent to a world that grows around you, and whilst it was previously confirmed for Xbox One, PS4 and PC, the news coming out of Hallow Tree Games today is that it’ll also be hitting Nintendo Switch.
After making the most of a Kickstarter project in 2015, Shape of the World will soon be a reality – and that includes a Switch version.
Sending you off as a first-person explorer, you’ll find yourself cast as an outsider in a surreal organic world that reacts to your presence. Travelling at your own pace through a relaxing and psychedelically colourful ecosystem of flourishing flora, rambling waterfalls, burgeoning mountains, glowing monoliths and graceful creatures will be par for the course, and Shape of the World promises a relaxing interactive escape about getting yourself pleasantly lost.
Features include:
Laid-back, relaxing exploration: No ticking clock or perils laying in wait will prevent you from enjoying your journey here.
An organic and mysterious ecosystem to play with: Interacting with graceful animals, ephemeral flora, and intriguing monoliths alter the world in vibrant and unexpected ways.
Procedural population: The forest only materializes around you when you get close, regrowing in a new way each time you pass. What will you find when you retrace your steps?
A dynamic soundtrack that responds to the player’s travels: The audio shifts along with the visuals, providing an enveloping aural and immersive experience.
“I’m thrilled to officially announced that Shape of the World is coming to Nintendo Switch this year,” said Hollow Tree Game’s founder Stu Maxwell, who also works as a senior VFX artist for The Coalition, the studio behind Gears Of War 4. “Nobody on the team expected the game to look so nice on the Switch, we’re really happy with it… We can’t wait to see what everyone else thinks.”

I didn't expect it but it's still disappointing, would've been fantastic to play the trilogy anywhere. I'll still get Shadow of the Tomb Raider on XB1 eventually but probably not launch (depends on the Switch lineup).
