It'd probably be better hold off anyway until the holiday rush gets here and it becomes harder to find one again.

@Inertiacreep Not that they can really be compared with each other but if was to compare I can say with absolute confidence that Mario will be leagues better than Xenoblade 2 for the majority of gamers. Odyssey will go down as one of the all time greats in the industry, Xenoblade 2 will go down as an amazing RPG that will be unknown to practically anyone who isn't following it . I'll be surprised if it even gets a mention in the GOTY awards. That's not to say that you and some others won't enjoy it more than Odyssey.

So much stuff coming out this week on the Switch but my SNES Mini is finally arriving tomorrow. Spoilt for choice. Do I get some indie games or just play Super Mario Kart all weekend for the millionth time? Decisions decisions!

Stardew valley or cuphead. Forgive me for my ignorance, but does SV have Co op on the switch or is that a later update?

What is so special about Stardew Valley? I keep hearing people praise it so much. Can somebody tell me what the basic concept is?

As someone with absolutely no experience with it, the little bits I've seen remind me of harvest moon mixed with minecraft and animal crossing. Seems like a super chill, yet addicting and satisfying game.

@Operative2-0 Stardew Valley will have co-op at a later date. Most likely either late this year, or next year. It hasn't been confirmed whether or not there will be cross-play.

Has anyone ran into this issue, after waking my Switch up from sleep mode I have a blank screen whether I'm docked or undocked any ideas?? Battery indicator comes on and says there is 90% charge it just will not display anything in the screen!

@DarthNocturnal Thanks for the reply. Sounds like a huge time sink I can't get into right now.

@Farmboy74 Doesn't sound good but a full reset should fix it. Try powering down the console by holding down the power button for a few seconds and leave it off for a few minutes. If that doesn't work, do the same again but also unplug from the mains and disconnect both cables from the dock and from the TV. I've seen Nintendo advise this under one of their error messages.

Thanks for the advice, according to Nintendo UK support page the Switch is take the Switch in a darkened room to see if you can see any light coming from the screen. If you can the unit has frozen and to perform a hard reset by pressing the power button in for 12 seconds.
Thankfully this has worked but talk about giving me heart failure!

@Farmboy74 Phew, glad you got it sorted. I can relate to how you felt, I've had my own Switch do something it shouldn't have.

What has your Switch done?
After the debate over whether to leave the Switch in sleep mode or turn completely off and weighing the pros and cons I decided to leave it in sleep mode and then it freezes! Hopefully its a one off

@Farmboy74 My own issue started after I'd let the battery run completely down while playing. It wasn't charging properly after that. I left it in the dock for nearly a whole day and it was only around 25% charged. I read others online having problems with the battery indicator displaying the incorrect amount but mines seemed different as it was still running down. It continued like this for a few days until I done that hard reset and disconnected the cables. I was sweating as I'm all digital with a Japanese Switch purchased in Thailand. The expected time for a repair and return is 2 months.
