I expect a lot of information on stuff that's coming at the end of the year. Xenoblade possibly, Skyrim release date, FE: Warriors mention, that sort of thing.

A new Wario jet-skiing game: Wa-ve Race
A milk-churning Joy-Con game: Donkey Kong Country: Typical Cheese
A new golf RPG: Legend of Zelda: Link's Links
...and to celebrate an iconic Nintendo characters 25th birthday, a game befitting their age: Kirby vs. Predator

@Tsurii That's my biggest worry. I think I'll just look away during the Odyssey section.

Kirby vs. Predator is the game that the community wants. I've seen the fan art.

A new gameplay trailer and an expansion pass announcement should be enough info for Super Mario Odyssey. They gave BotW DLC so I think Super Mario Odyssey will also get DLC.

They're likely going to spend some time on Super Mario Odyssey and Samus Returns. Hopefully not too long. The last number of Direct's have been disappointing and with them saying they're concentrating on games coming out in the next few months, it doesn't sound promising. Fingers crossed for new original Switch game announcements. Substantial 3rd party support particularly needed.

Switch 3rd parties and 3DS outside of Kirby will probably be quickfire announcements like the last general Direct, so like 1 minute on Samus Returns, 1 minute on Skyrim, 1 minute on Payday 2, etc. meanwhile 1st party Switch stuff takes up the big bulk of time.

Can't wait. I'd really like to see some system updates, achievements, cloud saves, VC, system apps, etc but I won't get my hopes up

Neither will I get my hopes up for MHXX. I'm already playing it, it's basically just as good as an English release as is (I can transfer my save to my 3DS any time and reference the English patched version, not that I need to ever, I've learned where everything is in the menus).

Just... gimme release dates for the games we know are coming. That's my expectations.

Can't believe they're showing more Odyssey. How much more can they possibly show before they spoil the whole game?

Gonna avoid that section of the Direct, like I've been avoiding everything about Odyssey since the initial trailer.

i doubt anything really new showing. just games for the next few months. Pokken, Mario, Fire Emblem Warriors, XC2, Kirby, Yoshi and maybe some Metroid Prime 4 trailer if we're very lucky. If anything "new" it'll be more WiiU ports and maybe more info on their online plans and typical 3DS stuff as well. Prolly some info on some 3rd party stuff like Okami HD, LA Noire, etc.

@SLIGEACH_EIRE Indeed, but it will probably just be more info on what we're already aware of, and clarification of things. If there's something surprising, fantastic, but I'm not getting my hopes up.

@Tsurii Indeed. Last time I heard something about Odyssey, they apparently revealed how many kingdoms the game has. Sigh... Don't need to see or hear any more, I know I'll buy it anyway...

I'm almost certain there'll be a Nindies section, it can't be a coincidence that the Fast RMX update releases on the same day as the Direct.

The only games that I can see coming out of this direct that would be new would be something that's coming out in the windows between January and March. I would wager my bets on having a Mario and Sonic Olympics game, Mario Party 11, and at least one of the dates of either Kirby or Yoshi announced.
