Topic: Upgrade to Nintendo switch Plus

So I know that to get the N64 games in Sega games you have to upgrade to Nintendo online Plus. However, I'm already paying for a family membership. If I upgrade do I have to pay the full price even though I already paid the full price for the year? When I go to check out it has $80 as my total, but that would just be on paying over $120 for something added on to something I already had. Does anybody know if I'm doing something wrong or does it automatically discount the initial membership that I already paid for? Any help would be great

I thought saw someone say that you won't see the upgrade pricing until you go to pay. When you go to pay, they take into account how much of your subscription is left, and apply the upgrade price accordingly. Can anyone else confirm this?
