Hi,

Looking for some guidance on any known issues that may be causing my problem. Apologies in advance if this has already been asked and answered, I had a search and couldn't see the exact issue.

I am unable to connect my switch to thr TV via the Dock, when I place my switch in the Dock, the Dock has a continuous blinking green light rather than static. I have tried multiple hdmi cables and also the official and non official chargers (both of which work when connected directly to the switch).

Thinking that the Dock was the problem, I purchased a HDMI-USB-C converter which is known to work for the switch and I get the same problem. The converter can power and charge the switch, but when HDMI cable is attached, the switch goes black and unresponsive and nothing is received on the TV. The TV works fine for my xbox and PlayStation.

I've tried a factory reset and software upgrade and still no luck.

I'm starting to think it's a problem with the switch, but I don't have a spare Dock to check.

Was looking for some steer on here before taking it for repair?

Thanks in advance.

@Ssnsk1 Have you tried resetting the AC adapter? If this is the first time hearing of this, it's a known issue that can happen every once in a while & very easy to resolve - completely unplug ac adapter & dock for 30 seconds.

Try these two nintendo support troubleshooting pages.

EDIT: Typically, if you can't solve something searching & using nintendo's support site (they're pretty thorough), that has been a good inidcator that hardware has failed somewhere.

Thanks @woomynnyes.

Tried both and no luck, a friend is going to test in their dock, if that doesn't work, then will need to take in for repair 👍
