Topic: Turtle Beach Headset

Hi,

I'm having trouble with my son's switch and headset on Fortnite.

The headset works fine, he can hear the audio music that Fortnite plays but cannot hear other people or chat himself. I've been out and bought another headset and this is exactly the same.

The headset is not on mute and I've been on settings within Fortnite and made sure voice chat is on. I've seen a couple of people say that you can't chat in the lobby and once you get in the actual game it'll start working but ours doesn't. He used to be to talk in the lobby fine.

anyone have any other ideas?

As far as I know fortnite has in-game voice chat.

What model are you using?

Does Turtle Beach make a Switch headset?
Side note, last I tried playing a game with the online app no one was using it to chat.
