I have the Asteroids game and the Missile Command game, though I haven't played Missile Command yet. Asteroids is legitimately good and a lot of fun, in my estimation. Be warned: It's brutally difficult. Atari forgot that we're not spending 25 cents to play anymore, so it created a game in which it's difficult to play more than seven or eight minutes. You get one life, and, as far as I can tell, there are no extra lives ... unless there is something I haven't unlocked. The soundtrack is good, and the graphics are a nice take on the vector theme. Most of the power-ups are fun, though a couple seem like more of a hindrance than a help to me. There is also a mission mode, and there are online leaderboards.
Thought about Missile Command because of the price, and that I've actually played it back then. (no idea if it was on an actual Atari, lol) Also thought about Centipede and Black Widow, not sure about Asteroids yet. >.<

Keep it PG-13-ish.
I have missile command. The leader board is good. although I doubt I will ever reach top 100. The upgrades stop after a while so I don't think I'll get past the 250 position on leaderboard where I am
...I mean, isn't Centipede just a game where you're firing from a ship at the bottom or something? I figured it wouldn't be that bad with just a normal controller...

I can't speak for the Recharged version, but the original Centipede (and Millipede) allowed you to move the entire width of the screen and up maybe 20 percent of the screen. To play well, you needed to move in all directions. I find that an analogue stick isn't sufficiently smooth or accurate at the speed needed to succeed in Centipede.
I saw there was an Atari "Recharged" game article here this week, for Breakout? I'll have to read up on it.
I miss the old Atari arcade games, and even wishlisted that Atari Classics collection lately. I was tempted to maybe pick it up when it was on sale for like $20, but just have too much to play at the moment.
I would even like to see some of the Atari 2600/VCS games again. They wouldn't even have to be the A-tier titles like River Raid or Pitfall, Yar's Revenge, or Empire Strikes Back. Does anyone know if Skydiver is in that collection? It was such a simple game, but fun for elementary schooler me at the time.
Or COMBAT, where you fly blocks of huge pixels across the screen, with primitive airplane sounds. They would dissolve into scrambled egg messes when hit...
The tank games with bouncing bullets were legitimate fun, though.
