@NintendoByNature DOOM Eternal will probably be cheaper down the road. I'd say get Lost Sphear I was going to get that yesterday myself but I ran out of money lol.
@Kermit1 yea it might be. I know this is the lowest it's been, and I've seen the original doom get down to $9.99, but those are hefty DLs. I got some thinking to do I guess. I have about $14 in gold coins so it's kind of already paid for no matter which route I go.
Since it is on sale I do recommend Katanakami with the caveat that you watch game play videos first. (I say this because the WOTS games are an acquired taste and I've been playing since the first one so I know I am biased.) It's a fun little dungeon crawler (minus the last dungeon which is too long at 99 floors) that translates the WOTS swordplay over pretty well. And the smith (dojima) meta game is fun. I've sunk about 115 hours into it and only put it down because the last dungeon EXHAUSTED me. I'll pick it back up later to keep buffing my swords.

I'm a Dream Fighter. Perfume is Love, Perfume is Life.
@hotdangitsdan haha yea thanks. I grabbed it a few days ago. I'll probably get sestuna next time. I've beaten only doom 3 but played all the other ones so far.
Can anyone help me prioritize the gunvolt series? I do have mighty gunvolt burst and it was decent. Which games would you recommend after that and Which should I avoid, if any?
Just bought Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen on sale at less than 10 Euros, till 24th August.
Absolutely a great surprise, fantastic action rpg game.
If you love rpg's give a chance to this, at least the price is very low.
Final Vendetta is a solid 7/10 game. Really good animations for the characters you use. A couple good music tracks that are an homage to Streets of Rage. But it's a weird beat'em up in that some of the basic enemies you fight are more challenging than the bosses themselves, which are pushovers. Some of the basic enemies use wakeup attacks, denying you from hovering over their downed bodies to use downed-kicks or waiting for them to stand up to maul them.
Throwing A Short Hike in there. Absolutely chill and incredible game that respects your time and reminds you to decompress every now and then from the hubub of life.
So Target has their Buy 2 Get 1 Free game sale on again. I definitely want to get Nier: Automata and the Cowabunga Collection, but I'm trying to decide on a third game. I think my choices are between A Hat in Time, Astria Ascending, Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising, and Eastward. I'm probably leaning towards A Hat in Time mostly because I'm already up to my ears in RPGs, but I wanted to see if anyone here has a strong opinion that I need to get any of those.
Alright guys and gals. SMTV is $30 for the first time ever. I've been trying to figure out my next purchase after finishing Bayonetta 3, which might be as early as tomorrow.
The other two I've been eyeing are pokemon violet and P5R.
What's the name of that game, where you play as an alien fighting on earth with a lazer or flying saucer, you can shoot cows, fight against people & US miliatry, it's 1950s era themed? It's ported to the switch from last gen consoles.
Every search word I use doesn't yield what I'm looking for.
@Xyphon22 I've never played it either. I've been curious to try it, but skeptical that I'll like it. If it ever gets a crazy discount for less than $10, I may bite.
So far, this is the first black friday since switch launch that there are no games I want on sale. I don't like many games.
