I'm starting to lose hope for this game. It might not even be good.

That would be incredibly disappointing, but more like something I've expected, this being 10+ years after the last Zelda game I liked and all. Like that feeling when you're watching a TV serial and they hint at a pairing you like, and they develop that plot line, but there're existential problems and you feel them encroaching and OF %^$#ING COURSE IT'S ALWAYS MY FAV CHARACTER WHO GETS KILLED and you cry and you try to forget (and you can't).

Like that.

The site's activity, in general, has really slowed down. This site used to be incredibly active months ago. There's alotta factors to why this might be happening but the biggest one (in my opinion), is that Nintendo hasn't dropped any huge hype bombs in quite a while and has been stumbling for quite a while.

Or they look at this thread as see your fetish posts and decided to do a runner.

I'm not even on the site as much anymore... I see others have dropped in activity as well. I used to be on here all the time but my PS4 and Vita dragged me away. Besides, I'm always half joking with my fetish jokes.

I own a Wii U and 3DS. I also own a PS4!

I think it's mostly due to end of the road. Whatever theory you come up with, there will be about a 6 month drought of Wii U games sometime between the release of Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE and Zelda U. So whether you spend your time clearing up backlog, playing 3DS and/or playing a non-Nintendo console it's still rather a dark time to be a Nintendo fan.

@Grumblevolcano That's assuming everyone buys every new Wii U game. Software droughts have always been a problem for the Wii U, even when the system got new games. If we're lucky, we're getting 2 or 3 new games a month, and that's a generous month. Meanwhile there's so many games coming to PlayStation, several each week. I really hope that's something they'll fix for their future systems.

@Octane Well yeah, if you have no interest in a Zelda remaster, a Pokemon fighting game, Star Fox, Persona and Paper Mario Sticker Star then the entire year is nonexistent for Wii U.

Droughts are subjective anyway. Despite those plentiful games on the Playstation, most of them do not interest me, so it's still a desert to me

@Lzeon Well, that's an entirely different thing. Even though you might not be interested in all of them, there's a lot more options to choose from and that's always better than having to wait for several months in-between releases. More games means a system caters to more people.

@Octane

Well it's surely going to be an NX launch title. So why wouldn't the Wii U version launch in tandem?

It's dangerous to go alone! Stay at home.

Octane

@Dezzy I'm not saying that it won't, but it's weird they never mentioned March for Zelda, even though we already know the NX is coming in March. And the removal of 'March' on the press site makes everything even more curious. Why actively remove that date if it's going to be a launch title anyway? Meaning we already know it's coming in March.

Octane

Grumblevolcano

@Octane Maybe it isn't a NX launch title or maybe it's in case the NX is delayed. Saying March 2017 for the Wii U version and then delaying it again just because the NX is delayed would potentially cause bigger problems.

When there are just no games at all, it becomes pretty objective.

Octane

@Grumblevolcano That could be true. If that's the case, they better have some Wii U games left. Either way, something smells fishy and I'm not sure of it's Nintendo's future plans or the Wii U that sits under my TV and hasn't been touched in a while.

Yep! This year I've enjoyed Gravity Rush, Final Fantasy XV (demo), Ratchet & Clank, Crypt of the Necrodancer, Nioh (demo), Uncharted 4, and Fallout 4's Far Harbor DLC. There may not be any masterpieces like the Gamecube / Wii-era Zeldas and Metroids, but there's still a bunch of really good games.

I'm convinced that not liking any games on PS4 is a issue of ignorance, not availability.

@Octane Nintendo's future plans sure don't seem to make any sense. As for my Wii U usage, here's the last 12 months:
. June 2015 - 133:04
. July 2015 - 141:43
. August 2015 - 48:26
. September 2015 - 73:37
. October 2015 - 40:09
. November 2015 - 85:57
. December 2015 - 59:43
. January 2016 - 141:02
. February 2016 - 88:58
. March 2016 - 100:35
. April 2016 - 60:21
. May 2016 - 40:28 (so far)

The increases after July 2015 weren't due to new games but instead positive Hyrule Warriors progress.

Ditto, such a huge backlog.
