Yeah, I definitely prefer Zelda U Link's current shown outfit over the normal Green Tunic.

The NX is going to be delayed to Holiday 2017 you heard it here first, also It should be pretty obvious what my favorite game of all time is cough Skyward Sword cough

true but the master sword doesnt necessarily have to be in the game just like in majora's mask

im willing to bet its your starter outfit, but then when you accept the mantle of the hero of time you get the green tunic, then there will be other costumes as well you can obtain. and maybe you can equip the starter outfit too, or maybe itll be like winwaker, youll get an invisible tunic that gives you the abilities of the green tunic but the look of the starter outfit

Did the green tunic have abilties in Wind Waker?

Hopefully if they do have outfits it'll be like Triforce Heroes and I can put Link in dress and then watch the outrage from insecure males.

no they got a lot of rage when they did that in a spinoff, if they tried it in a console game theyd go bankrupt, because very few people like boys wearing dresses, teenage girls, ..... i think thats it, even gay guys like a real hero. and they dont want to turn zelda into a niche title that makes no money and is only in it for the fans. they like to play to the fans AND make money

there was a reason the master sword wasnt in majoras mask, because it was being used to seal ganons soul, and link was smart enough to leave it where it was. but i think zelda wii U is before ocarina of time

Although it would be a nice plot line, girl (not link or linkle) goes on quest to find the fabled (missing) hero.

In the end, she had the spirit and courage of the hero all along, the journey only awakened it. She found the hero.

Why haven't they do that?
Having a girl to save the hero would be a nice change in gaming. Last time Nintendo ever did that was "Super Princess Peach".
