While I can't access any of the DLC because I'm not far enough (kind of close to my 2nd Divine Beast), I really like that all the DLC is integrated into the world itself rather than being a separate menu on the title screen.
That said, the feeling of accomplishment and the thrill of victory becomes that much sweeter. I imagine it's akin to the way Fire Emblem gamers feel playing on permadeath.

Just beat the Champions Ballad DLC. I loved all of the new main story quests but I'm pretty disappointed about something. Apparently there's a limit to the amount of clothing items you can have, And with the addition of this new DLC it's impossible to have one of everything. Hopefully they add an extra page to the clothing tab so I can get all the new DLC outfits without having to throw away something. For now they'll just have to sit inside their chests, possibly never getting worn. I could sell some outfits that I own but they all have too much sentimental value.

Woah, it really sucks that you cannot collect all armor.
Especially when you pay 60 bucks for the Champion amiibos (to get their exclusive pieces of armor) and then find out you can't pick em up. What a joke! I hope Nintendo is getting truckloads of angry mails for that. I know I would be so p*ssed, having spent so much on amiibo to get all the clothing and then the game denying me a full collection.
What's the max number of gear you can collect (full pages)?
Also, the unobtainable glitch chests are still in the game! 9 months with no patch!
What's up with Nintendo?

That's pretty bad, especially if you upgraded them to the max! I think I have got almost everything (Xenoblade dlc included) minus the Amiibo stuff. And I have almost upgraded everything to the max. I might first finish that stuff before I go to the new dlc.
Someone came into trouble because he had lots of re-colored stuff. But if you plan to get at least one of everything, that should be possible. Make extra pages Nintendo, or a museum where we can swap/store stuff. I don't want to throw away highly upgraded stuff!
Sorry if this sounded a bit daft, I was in a hurry. But you get what I mean.
@SKTTR The current maximum is 5 pages (100 items) but there's now 107 different pieces of clothing. I'm really hoping there's a patch later that adds one more page.
I did not care that much for the Champions ballad. MASSIVE SPOILERS.
First it was just shrine after shrine, and I never liked the shrines in the main game. On top of that, the dlc relied heavily on taking away your stuff to regulate the difficulty, which means there still isn't any use for your overpowered character. The only exception was the muldugaking mini boss, which still wasn't that demanding.
Then you got a single proper dungeon with a boss at the end. After finishing the boss you get a motorcycle, which is basically just an infinitely more stupid version of a horse. I know this game is supposed to have elements of sci-fi, but that is just ridiculous. The final nail in the coffin was that you were only rewarded 4 more spirit orbs throughout the dlc, which means you still can't have max stamina and health
I enjoyed it. Honestly, I wish we had gotten more stuff similar to the DLC in the main game.
Still don’t agree with the dislike towards the motorcycle. I don’t know, but this game is basically Sci-Fi all the time, to the point where it’s present about as much (if not more than) magic.
One of the original pitched concepts was a full-scale alien invasion. It may have been dropped, but come on, the Guardians scream “martian tripod“ (complete with “heat ray“). Is a motorbike (running on said Guardian tech, no less) THAT much of a stretch? Nevermind his tablet...
The problem isn't that it's tech, it's that it doesn't fit the theme.
