For those not interested in people bagging on this wondrous game, here's a page with some happy words about it. Scroll down for the Facebook comments too:

You guys had me at blood and semen.

What better way to celebrate than firing something out of the pipe?

Go to /r/zelda if you want a circle, ahmn, discussion where your message gets downvoted and hidden if you criticize anything about Breath. Though if you ask me the 'power of positivity' is overrated just like the new Zelda ;P

Don't hate me because I'm bnahabulous.

My experience of reddit in general is that subreddits are usually not worth the time.

I like the GameCentral pages on Metro because they mostly seem to be about people enjoying video games rather than slating them.

/r/truezelda isn't that bad, although there is one particularly obnoxious and prolific user I can think of. And everyone seems to think that every detail in Zelda relates to the timeline, lol.

@rjejr I mean in the moment I thought that horseback fight was glorious, the best boss fight in any Zelda game ever. At the time of course I was so drawn in that I didn't realize I was essentially playing a game of "shoot the glowy Triforce mark!" with a monster that barely moved.

I still think, had they introduced horseback Bokoblins, had some homing-in attacks from Ganon, and had Ganon move around, it would've been the best boss fight in the series. The scale and music was amazing.

@shadow-wolf " it would've been the best boss fight in the series. The scale and music was amazing."

I get you. I've never been a fan of the series though, so I don't have any nostalgia good feels for it. My first Zelda game was TP, which I thought was just OK, then I played and hated SS, though it did make TP look good in comparison. I also played WW HD, which was OK I guess. So when I'm playing as Link fighting Ganon I dont' care that it's Link fighting Ganon, just that I have to shoot glowy circles on a big object that really isnt' doing anything either offensively or defensively. The final boss fight in Hyrule Warrirors, w/ giant Ganondorf bombing me to pieces in that big open field was much better.

Spoilers obviosuly:

Of course before I played BotW HW was my favorite Zelda game so don't go by anything I think.

@rjejr That actually looks kinda cool. I mean there's too much going on with those skeleton things on the field and presentation could definitely be improved, but it would've been nice if they adopted something like this for BotW.

Eel

The stalchildren are the lowest ranking members of Ganon's army, they're there for you to rack up KOs.

Part of the fun of the Warriors games is being able to mow down through hordes of enemies like that.

Bloop.

Outside of roster complaints (yes, the FE Warriors roster is far from ideal but it makes sense given History mode), it's pretty clear that Nintendo Warriors games are of a much higher quality product than other Warriors games.

@shadow-wolf "there's too much going on"

It's a musou game, the whole point is button mashing too many enemies to make yourself feel like an unstoppable boss. I don't usually enjoy those games that much, but the Zelda touches made HW very enjoyable. Well at least the story mode, I didn't play too much of the maps and missions. Well I was then my external HDD died and I lost my save point, so I just went back and redid the story. Top 3 on Wii U along w/ Zelda U and Bayonetta 2.

@MegaTen That article kinda made me laugh. The chest was clearly one accidentally left where it was, or was simply supposed to be easier to get to. What was she hoping for? Some brand-new secret torso that lets him burrow into the ground and find a lost 5th fairy fountain?

Got married.

It was probably done to give the game a western RPG flair, which are generally about placing yourself in a customizable avatar and becoming big and strong enough to dominate everything. Interesting to see the Samus Aran approach of character narration in a Zelda game. It tries to juggle the new direction of Link having a defined character (simple though it may be) with the blank slates of old with the old amnesia trick.

@faint

Democracy isn't really downvote some positions such that they no longer have to be seen.

That's kind of tyranny of the majority. Which is democracy in name only.

@Dezzy can people up vote? Ok let's put it this way. The state you live in has a vote on weather they should or shouldn't take down a statue. The majority vote that they don't want it. It gets taken down. Is that democracy or tyranny to you?

@faint

That's democracy. If however they decided that because they're the majority, they can simply silence or coerce people into silence for having the minority view, that would be what Mill called the tyranny of the majority.
