@Tsurii That armor set is in the vanilla game, yes.
And yeah, I loved reading the books in Skyrim. Not really a requirement for people who just want to experience the world and the quests, but they're definitely helpful for learning about the more intricate aspects of the Elder Scrolls lore and cultures and such. Some of them are definitely on the weird side, though. The Lusty Argonian Maid, anyone?
I usually am not very interested in motion controls when a game is playable with a common gamepad usually I prefer the gamepad but I think I will try motion controls in Skyrim, after all the oldest games in the series used a combat system very similar to motion controls that used mouse to mimic weapon movements. I think it could be fun to try something similar in Skyrim.

@NaviAndMii: Thanks for posting those! I didn't get to watch them until now (stuck in bad traffic when I posted last, didn't want to eat through too much data), but I like what I see.
Currently playing: Pokemon Scarlet DLC, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury (Switch)
@Tyranexx@MegaTen No problem! They're not the best or most entertaining of videos or anything, but it's still great to see it running nicely on the Switch ..and, by all accounts, the motion controls seem to be pretty tight - and just seeing it in handheld/tabletop mode is truly mouthwatering! My hype just cranked up another notch!
Curious about what they mean about the bow controlling like Breath of the Wild. That game uses gyro controls and the Switch Skyrim trailer showed some sort of two-handed bow drawing motion — totally different!
@Haru17 Haha! Yeah - it looked more like Wii Sports Resort archery to me... :/ (I hope so, I really liked the archery mini-game in WSR! ..think it'd be really cool to have similar controls adding to the immersion of a game like Skyrim )
I wonder if one will be able to choose in a menu how he want to use joy cons or i f the game will automatically recognize if they are put in the grip or not. I think I would like to try to use them like a traditional controller without the joy con grip too so I hope it will be possible to manually configure this option.

I just hope they leave out the huge yellow bloom lighting for sunrise and sunset. The Special Edition makes me miss the darkness of the original Skyrim in some places. And not to be that guy but it's 'depth-of-field.'
Much of the processing load of Bethesda games and what their engine is optimized for is memory. Memory so items placed in owned houses don't despawn and bodies stay where they fell until you've most likely left an area a week later. I think it'll be able to do 1080 just fine.
If I get Skyrim for a 3rd time, I wouldn't play it docked anyways. I have 2 other consoles to play it on the big screen with. Skyrim for Switch would be for on the go, so what it does on the big screen is irrelevant for me personally. I know there's a lot of Nintendo only people out there though, so hopefully they can bring 1080 on the big screen for first time players.
