Had about 10 games now I'd say. Quite addictive and fun.

Kept finishing around 47th / 46th for the first few goes but just managed to finish 11th...feeling super proud of myself haha

Best I've gotten is a whopping 76th place. I need help.

I don't have much experience with tetris so I'm a bit baffled by some aspects of this game, but it's great fun and worth playing for the music alone.
Is it best to try to complete rows whenever you can, or try to set it up so you can finish off several rows in one go?

Be patient and set up Tetrises (stacks of four). These will send garbage to other players, single lines I doubt will do much if anything.

Then again if you sit and set up for too long, you may end up losing in a single blow.

I can almost always get top 30ish, but it just gets so fast after that point, and it's really up to how many people are targeting me.

Man, this gets tense in the top 10. Blocks fall instantly, and only the best players survive.

In another game I attracted the rage of 5 players simultaneously. That was a quick defeat.

So far 16th is my best great addition to NSO member. For the moment i will not worry about not having SNES games. This is the best battle royal game.

I got to 5th place. My brother tried playing and got 1st place on his third match. He was using my account so my stats will show my best score is 1.

Got to third place. Holy **** when you get to top 10, the blocks start falling SO QUICKLY. Jesus!

Still a ton of fun though. I'm shocked I'm finding such fun out of Tetris like this.

After months of moaning about NSO on here, my lovely wife bought me a subscription for my birthday.

Tetris 99 is brilliant fun and making it less likely she’s wasted her money. 12th my best finish so far.

Just started playing. On my first go I basically got koed straight away and finished 97th lol thankfully I've improved, few games later I managed 21st.

Loving this. I haven't placed higher than 11th, but I'm loving it. Well worth the NSO subscription, which was free. Paid with all gold coins.

Played 3 games last name, finished 75th, 77th and 75th

I've found that by playing smallball Tetris (completing one line at a time) has had better results than completing a full Tetris. That's when I began placing in the top twenty more often. I think that completing spin-Tetris' removes more of the impending attack placed on you, but the action is usually so hectic I can't be sure of that.

Anyway, to help place higher you can also use the right analog stick to target different players who are playing worse than you. Just pick a player panel that's the most full.

I love this! My first game I ended up 1st... Lucky~ And i'm mostly second... A tutorial would have been great tho.
