Topic: Switch Unable to Connect to TV...?

Hi guys,

My son's Switch is unable to connect to the TV at times. I am not sure why sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.

I have tried using different HDMI ports, different HDMI cables, different TV's, compressed air to blow out any debris in the USB C port and also a different portable switch dock instead of the factory dock that came with the switch.

I don't understand why sometimes it connects and sometimes it doesn't. Lately it's become more problematic.

Had anyone experienced this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

@toicy4ya I would say the problem lies with using a different dock then what came with the Switch. Usually those 3rd party items can cause a problem.

@toicy4ya I think you may just need to reset the AC adapter, which is easy to resolve. Basically you completely unplug the ac adapter and the dock for 30 seconds.

You probably need to make sure the Switch’s plug is properly plugged in the power cord, and properly put the Nintendo Switch on top of the Nintendo Switch dock. If that doesn’t help, then you’ll probably need to call Nintendo.
