All told, regardless of regional exclusives or limited print exclusives? I'm not certain, but I'd venture a guess that it's in the neighborhood of 3,000. Like any other platform, there's a whole bunch of shovelware and/or lazy Switch ports that are getting a physical release and aren't worth owning.
While I would applaud an effort to obtain all physical releases, there just seems far too many that would never get played. We see this with any system that sells well. "Farming Simulator 22" has a limited reach, LOL
Limited Run Games are doing a physical release of Gimmick! The little known classic from the NES. They have standard and special editions...it looks like the standard release might not be exclusive...
SLG just announced ESCHATOS for Switch and PS4, and the cart includes the dev's 2 prior games from the Wonderswan. This shooter looks great and I've been waiting for a physical release for years now.
SLG knows just what games to release to get me to import to the 'States a few times each year!
Switch FC: SW-5760-3019-8223
(player name is Beesh)
Weird West is getting a Murican retail release from Devolver Digital.
Sword & Fairy Inn 2 is EastAsiaSoft's next limited release through P-A.
Switch Physical Collection - 1,152 games (as of June 3rd, 2023)

@Teksetter
I was really pleased to see Eschatos get the physical release treatment at long last.
For a 4000 print run though, I'm surprised that they didn't sell through given this shmup's reputation in the community.
Is that indicative of a declining interest in Switch physicals, or just what Strictly Limited Games has to offer in general?
@RupeeClock
I was surprised, too! Eschatos has a relatively low print quantity, and I would not have expected there to be 65% of Switch standard edition stock remaining this morning. I figured surely between the shmup fans in the West and in Japan this game would sell out quickly. I've never played it, but footage I've seen looks great, and I remember Shmup Junkie gave Eschatos a glowing recommendation on his YouTube channel.
Maybe you're right and the slow sales could be a sign of Switch trepidation, what with a successor system sure to be announced (if not on sale) within the next year. I think shoppers could be displeased with SLG over the recent Irem Collection series, too - it's so pricey and spread out!
Or maybe everyone is just playing Zelda at the moment?

Well, my wife thought to time my 1500th Switch game well enougj to make it a massive celebration about it.
Before my LRG came in last night, I was greeted with not only a copy of Tears of the Kingdom, but also the limited edition AND the OLED.
May she never divorce me, she is an absolute treasure. @ElRoberico - Mail Mole is definitely on my radar simply for being a 3D platformer, we get few of those at all, let alone one that plays solidly.
Only grief I had was that you don't get to "see" the character you're playing as with the majority of his presence being underground the entire game.
@Paraka I agree. Everything's just a bunch of 2D platformers or Metroidvanias instead of 3D platformers, and outside of Nintendo, they seem to be pretty mediocre.
Currently playing: Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity
@ElRoberico - Honestly, at this point, I'd be perfectly content to have a "mediocre" platformer that didn't have a glaring flaw or bug in their games.
I wanted so badly for Clive & Wrench to scratch that itch, but it couldn't even compare to Vexx. A 3D platformer from 2005.
Only really good one I have experience recently was Lunistice. And it was more like Crash than a traditional 3D free roam platformer like Mario, BK amd Lucky's Tale.
Need to score the following off eBay, even if pricing is nearly triple compared to the original pre-order pricing.
Curse of the Moon 2 (The hand drawn Convention Exclusive version)
Blazing Chrome
PowerSlave Exhumed
Castlevania: Anniversary Collection - (Best Buy Variant with III: Dracula's Curse Artwork)
Contra: Anniversary Collection - (The reversible original inside artwork is so much cooler than the stock)
Was thinking about preordering Trip World DX & Mr. Gimmick from LRG, but the cover art for both totally suck. Digital it tis'

I'm just not a fan of Inti creates generic modern anime art style, including what they've done with the Stand alone release cover art for Blaster Master Zero 1-3, Mighty Gunvult Burst and Azure Gunvolt.
The COTM2 convention Exclusive version above was illustrated by Tom Dubois(Who created the cover art for Castelvania III: Dracula's Curse on NES) falls more in line with NES box art from the very early 90's, which is more my cup of tea.
