@Dilly_D_Williams hey Dilly, I see you only have the one level so far. It's pretty good. I would have added a course condition to collect x amount of coins. Also the warp pipes were confusing but I won't hold that against you. Keep em coming. @CreepyNoodles I can't say much about your 1-1 and 1-2 remix, but I'm confused why the star was missing in the underground and the final mushroom or flower. Plus, you didn't let us run across the top of the screen! That's cheating!
Your levels though are all pretty good. Short and sweet best describes them so keep up the good courses! @Jdidion I liked 4-2, but I thought it could be a bit more polished, it was otherwise decent enough, but I found the same with your other courses too. More polish would go a long way. Your binary clock was great though. Very original but not very practical for fun lol. @Jamie_lobley I enjoyed your levels, they have a simple premise and a bit of a puzzle element there. They were very well constructed, even if some people didn't know where to stand... the 4 room puzzle level was clever, but I found the difficulty wasn't so much what to do, but rather to stop the claws from constantly grabbing and moving the Bob-bombs when I didn't want to to, I think mostly due to the placement of the on/off switch. I still enjoyed it though. Well done.
If anyone wants to try my levels I'll be honoured. Otherwise I'll come back to play more later.
I bought Mario Maker 2 with the intention of just playing other people's levels, but I made my own and found that they're actually quite fun to create!
I'm not the best by any means, but if you could give my level a try and give it some feedback I'd appreciate it, thank you 🙂
Hello everybody 😁

Thanks for playing 😃
I'll play yours too 😉
Level design is way too weird/busy/confusing for my taste, with too many sound effects, I gave up in the first level (at the second time we see the sun). The second level has the same problems, but is a bit smoother, I did finish it and gave it a like since the experience was globally positive.
The level looks great and has very good ideas, but a lot of obstacles get you the first time without you being able to see them (the skeleton fish at the beginning, the Spiny), and the part with the fire bars definitely needs a checkpoint just before it.
How would you change the second portion? I am currently at a loss and need some Ideas that don't compromise the Great Tower aspect. I am also considering removing the Tower aspect entirely and make it its own level with a Mystery House type concept. Should I redo the Tower part or remove it to make it its own full level(without trolls of course)?
Honestly, you could just cut everything after the second checkpoint (the part with the troll pipes/doors) and replace it by a neat boss fight, maybe give a little more room/better flow to the rest (the rhythm blocks are a bit tight), and it'd be a fine level. It's already long enough IMHO. Remember Super Mario Maker is more about short experiences. And don't forget to add three 1-UPs in appropriate places, people appreciate them in the endless challenge.
I've got a new level inspired by Zelda dungeons!
Meowser's Dungeon in the Desert - TTX-5NY-QYG
P.S. This is a 100% troll free level. It is a basic puzzle solving level! Have fun!
I really enjoyed it! Level design is clear, the challenge is fun, the boss/enemy arenas are well designed, the Zelda inspiration shows but isn't intrusive. Thanks for the fun!
The puzzles are excellently designed and it's very smart to offer different items to use before you enter the puzzles, but if you die during a puzzle (which can happen, messing with the bombs - didn't complete that one, or falling on the Boo circles which you can't see clearly in the ON/OFF puzzle once you're in the air), you don't feel like redoing everything. I beat each puzzle independently except the bomb puzzle and I enjoyed it, gave the level a like.
Maybe a solution could be replacing the keys with pink coins, since checkpoints save pink coins and not keys. You could then put two checkpoints after the other around a pipe to make the save point work.

I played the intro and the entirety of World 1, and I loved it. I I'm very much into classic Super Mario Bros. design, you may yourself enjoy my own Old School Super Mario series:
Old School Super Mario (Plains)
Old School Super Mario (Cliffs)
Old School Super Mario (Outpost)
Old School Super Mario (Castle)
It may not look like it, but it's actually hard to make classic original Super Mario Bros. levels in Super Mario Maker, because you have to understand how they work, and translate that into Super Mario Maker physics, which are totally different from classic Super Mario Bros. physics.
@Simbabbad
I'll remove the Tower part and make it a Mystery House type level. I'll shorten the length of the Beat-Block section, add those 1-ups somewhere, and maybe shorten or redo the Snake Blocks and the destination. I'm glad you enjoyed my Meowser level! I originally was going to have an ON/OFF switch in the room with the bomb before Boom Boom but then I realized that 2-State Blocks aren't in the 3D World style. I had already designed The Pom Pom fight so i decided to rework it to a bomb puzzle. I hope to make more levels like that with different themes and maybe different game styles so I hope you look forward to that! And thanks again for all the feedback!
