Topic: Super Dungeon Maker

...Decided to sign up for Kickstarter and give $20 to these guys for the Switch version. Also noticed there's no thread on here for this game, anyone else getting this? Or have the Steam version that's doing the Early Access thing?

No idea if Nintendo will be doing Zelda Maker at this point (I doubt it, honestly, would be nice, though), but this looks like a pretty good substitution. So, who's interested in this? For the guys who have the early version on Steam, how is it so far?

I honestly would pick this over Mario Maker if I had to choose.

I'm getting this game when I have the $$$, it looks great and who knows the game might do collabs with other indie games as DLC.

Well I love Mario Maker, but yeah it would be nice if they would do more Makers with some of their other IPs. Closest they ever done was that thing with the Link's Awakening remake, which would've been okay if they allowed us to share with other people. (that and it was a bit limited anyways)

...Well, their kickstarter thing is ending soon, if anyone wants to support that. I already did so...I think I get both versions (I think once it ends they'll give me the Steam version, and then the Switch when that releases) and my name will now be in the credits.

Well, it's out, did anyone get this? Since I did the kickstarter thing I got both versions, no idea when I'll actually mess with it, though. Pretty occupied with the Advance Wars remake, hopefully they fix this game up and everything. Last time I played it there was some weird bug where I couldn't delete stuff and things bugged out.

@Joeynator3000 I have the game and it's pretty fun. Needs more bosses and enemies for sure, but is WAY better than the NL review would suggest.

Yeah they did say they're planning on giving it more stuff for us, hopefully we'll get more bosses based on ALttP or Link's Awakening. I think so far there's only two, the ones based off Moldorm and the Lamolas (I think that's their name, whatever those giant sand worms are called in the Desert Palace, lol). I saw the third giant boss and, I dunno...don't like him, unless they changed it, his sprite just rotates when turning around and it just looked...awkward. lol

I haven't gotten the game yet, but I still want it; any sense of if they will fix the major bugs and the lag issues people are talking about? I can survive without lots of features, but I want the game to at least actually work correctly.

By any chance has anyone still been playing the game recently and had an issue where nearly every time you try to click the save button on a dungeon the game crashes with the black screen that says "the software was closed because an error occured"? The dungeon doesn't save, it crashes and closes and then you lose your progress.

I have tried restarting my Switch and deleting and re-downloading the software, but the issue still seems to be there. I haven't had any other issues with any other games, so I don't believe it's an issue with the Switch or my SD card. It seems to be the game itself. It's been ages since either my son or I have played it, so maybe a more recent update has caused a problem.

Just wondering if it's a common issue others have had before I start more troubleshooting or try contacting the devs/submitting a bug report.
