@WoomyNNYes I've actually forgotten whether you can or not, but can you save replays? I'd love to have my best/favourite matches all in one place without having to resort to Switch clips.

@Fizza Splatoon 3 lets you save replays, and share them via a 16 digit code. After matches, got to the kiosk/computer thing in the lobby - there's a replays scare icon.

Now, I marked a couple matches as FAVORITES, but I dont know if that's how you save them. And I could not find any place revealing a code for sharing replays.

Actually, this gamexplain direct summary says we can see the view points of the enemies, but I think they have the buttons wrong in this clip. Now, in-game, I see no menu referencing ABYX buttons for changing to enemy's view (I think?). This clip may have facts wrong, but it shows the kiosk icon screen.

@Fizza Have fun. Remember to say YES to import you splatoon 2 save data. And you'll have to play turf war to LEVEL 4 to gain access to stores and a bunch of basic things.

@WoomyNNYes Cheers man. I was actually going to get the Aerospray with one of Gold Tickets, but after hearing that I'll need to get to Level 4 to access the shops anyway (with the Aerospray being unlocked at Level 5), I decided to go for the further away ones instead. I'm nearly there and it still doesn't feel real at points.

@Fizza I've held off on using all three of my gold tickets to unlock weapons. Since we don't know how the metal will turn out, I'm assuming in the coming weeks, people will find OP uses for certain weapons. So, I'll have a gold ticket in case that happens. (no need to reply to this. go play)

Now is a great time to do Salmon Run. This current map, Gone Fission Hydroplant is an EASY map. It makes it fun, just so you can focus on getting into the new salmonids and events. And it's easy to rack up points rewards. I dare say, it may be easier to earn rewards in Splatoon 3. That's how it seemed to me. The game will start you on easy difficulty, too. So, Salmon Run is kind of a cake walk for 5-8 matches. This map is here until noon sunday (that's whay my schedule says). (This map will be back in a couple days, though, I believe)

I was avoiding Salmon Run, because I was worried it would be tough and stressful. But it's actually easy mode! I'm very glad I tried it. There's enough new in there, it's great. **side note, there's a Low Tide event, where the egg basket in the low tide area is blocked, and you have to take the eggs all the way back to the original egg basket where you spawn at the start of stages.

I can't tear myself away from turf wars, lol. Literally haven't touched ranked, salmon run, or the single player.

I started getting Communication Errors every time I tried joining Turf Wars. 4 times in a row when in the matchmaking lobby. I'd gotten to Level 3, then suddenly these errors started happening every time. I've never had issues in Splatoon 2 and have wired ethernet. Read online a lot of others are experiencing the same thing.

So I'm playing some single player for now. Just sucks cause I'm only a match or two away from unlocking everything at Level 4.

@WoomyNNYes Well you can do the little speed dodge, my moving the stick back and forth quickly then jumping wile swimming in ink.

I had a lot of trouble with dc's in the Splatfest World Premiere. Solution was to turn off my modem and router for a while and turning it back on(....of course). Since then I had no problems. In the full game now zero dc's. And I played quite a lot.

Although I was still able to play plenty of turf wars, yeah, the freakin' connection errors, I kinda expected this anyways because it's Nintendo, but they seriously need to fix their online. Especially when we're PAYING for it, I feel like the only thing we're really paying for is the errors and lag now, lol

Am I the only one not getting connection errors? I think in all my time playing the game which was up to level six, I only got three in total.

@JaxonH Strange, I've done a few Turf War matches so far (hit level 3 but not 4 yet) and yet, despite having some awful communication errors in the Splatfest Premiere, I haven't had a single one yet. My advice would be to just grin and bear it and try to get to Level 4 so that you unlock everything else like Salmon Run for instance.

@Fizza The staff lady in the town plaza won't let me play the card game until I'm level 4. The only way to level up is to play online. Therefore we can't play the card game without an NSO subscription.

@SnackPop Ah, understood. I suppose you could just use up a 7-day free trial of NSO in order to circumvent it but yeah: not great.

I still have yet to touch Tableturf myself, mostly out of pure fear that it's either going to be a one and done thing or something I play more than the actual game. We'll see how things pan out tomorrow I suppose.

For sure. I'll look for one of those 7-day trials. It's just strange that TableTurf isn't playable offline despite there being bots programmed in as opponents.
