Wow, that's 13 pieces of gear from the Switch News article for Springfest. That's the most we've ever gotten from a news article. However, it is just 4 sunglasses and then 9 pairs of shoes, and half the shoes don't seem springfest themed (dumb?). I only like two of the shoes.

The springfest banner is proper springfest themed though<3.

I'm leaning towards Bear Cubs for the SpringFest. I have a soft spot for teddy bears... I actually have one! Also, just like @Croctopus, I'll be wearing the Teddy Band since I have it in the game.

Oh, I looked back at Splatoon 2 The Shoal and the stage list was 2 complete pages (random and 23 stages) so Splatoon 3 Sizzle Season is probably just 1 stage. For some reason I thought Splatoon 2 had an incomplete page.

Moray Towers would be awesome! Does everyone think the next season is the final? And the final fest will be annnounced in the next direct?

It’s strange to think about, but we were promised two years of support — meaning two cycles of each season, and we’ve already had two cycles of everything except Sizzle.

I imagine they’ll keep the naming conventions for a good while — meaning we’ll see probably see a Chill Season 2025 — but I doubt it’ll come with the updates and fanfare: simply a reset of various ranks.

Who knows exactly how things will play out though. It’s hard to make predictions about longevity and support with so many questions marks hanging over the Switch’s successor. But yeah, ‘two years of support’ is all we’ve heard, so it’s the only thing we’ve got to work with.

I agree with @Maxz in the fact that there will still be ‘seasons’ to reset the ranks etc. ,which I think would be the most probable thing Nintendo would do to still make people try to play the game as there is still some of the competition element in there.

For stages, I think that we have had all the new stages for this game and Nintendo is going to bring back an old stage (hopefully the reef). It would still be only one stage like last season though.

I am pretty sure there was a data mine from a while back which said there would be a new stringer and Splatana in one of the last seasons. If it’s true then next season might be a ‘Splatoon 3 season’ with the focus on the new weapon classes like last season which was a ‘splatoon 2 season’ with a new duelie and brella.

I was wrong about the number of stages last season so who knows if what I mentioned will actually happen 😂

Also, what are people’s predictions on third kits? I think they are becoming increasingly unlikely as some weapons don’t even have second kits!

I wonder if they’ll add Tricolor to the normal lobby and Big Run as a separate option in Salmon Run you can access at any time post-FinalFest. It and Big Run were the big new modes of Splatoon 3 but Tricolor only appeared during Splatfests and Big Run only appeared for a few days at the beginning of each new season.

@Grumblevolcano that would be cool, I would love if they added compatibility for both modes with every single stage but I know that’s unrealistic
