Topic: Splatoon 3

I played Splatoon 2 Turf War yesterday evening. Ohhhh, it was fun to play with the older weapon kits and specials.<33 I still like some Splatoon 2 weapon kits and specials better than Splatoon 3. I also miss the music mixer feature while waiting for enough players to for a match. It's still entertaining to hit all the buttons and trigger the different vocal loops(squid gibberish<3).

It took 5+ minutes to fill the player slots. I don't know if that's a fluke, or a representation of how few people are playing in eastern US.

New update is here but the best part arrives tomorrow! The new band sounds good, I like the song which was shown in the trailer the most. And sadly I don’t think I’ll be using the adjust gear feature much, it’s a little disappointing how you can’t adjust amiibo gear or wear sunglasses on your head. Not a huge fan of the oversized t-shirts but I usually don’t wear those in game anyway. Maybe I’ll wear one of the backwards caps eventually but I still like my Tentaclinger Earring

The new Grizzco Dualies appear to have infinite dodge rolls and when executed they explode! Very interesting machanic to be sure!

I probably have a new favourite Splatling. The Heavy Edit is absolutely deadly if your aim is good. And it charges faster than I thought. A Hydra with faster charging.. Perfect! The range is absolutely fine.
The only gripe I have is... There's an annoying high pitched beeping when firing it fully charged. 😅 It sounds like my washing machine when it's done... uhh... washing. 😂

The new maps are also absolutely amazing.

Checked my capsule seed for a gold capsules. In the Splatfest Shell-Out Machine pool, it's the 1900ish capsule. No luck this season I guess.
There's still the normal pool I guess.

I'm so happy the devs remembered about brellas! The Sorella brella's kit is great, and the decreased shield respawn time really helps reduce down time. I expected to hate the new maps, but they're actually really fun to play on (I love all the inkrails on crableg capital). I was presently surprised by this season - even with no side order.

Do we know what the new Salmon Run gear will be? I haven't seen it revealed yet.

I have no strong feelings about picking the Splatfest team, so i picked yellow, because its the most amusing ink color.

@WoomyNNYes Hasn't been announced yet but the shift schedule goes from a shift that started in the previous season automatically into Big Run which hasn't happened before. We'll for sure find out what it is after Big Run has ended.

@Grumblevolcano So far, new Salmon Run gear has always gone live with the first new shift of the month, hasn't it? I'm not expecting Big Run to break that pattern. I guess we'll find out later today!

I think grinding for the new gear with the ability you want coincides perfectly with Big Run.

@WoomyNNYes As far as I'm aware you can't get the current month's gear in Big Run because the rewards path for Big Run is only capsules.

Oh, @Grumblevolcano!!😁 I looked up a previous Big Run stream to check. Here's ZackScottGames after a Big Run job, and you can see the SR gear is still present. Booyah!!!!

Boooo! I played seven games and only one of them was a new stage.

@jump I played the Crableg Capital six times last evening, and 5 of those matches the other team played like OP partied up competitive pros, and they destroyed my team every time with masterful use of splatlings & chargers. They dodged my suction bombs, splatbombs, and autobombs with impressive skill. (it was pretty annoying)

I really wish GolDynamo (yes I call it that ok) had gotten Burst Bomb instead of Splat Bomb…
Overall an enjoyable season! I also really like the way the Splatfest and Big run were announced at the same time! Small details matter!

@WoomyNNYes I know you’re just trying to make me feel better by talking about how much you sucked on the new stages but it didn’t work. ;p

@jump Oh, I got DESTROYED.🤣 But I know with nintendo's rubber banding, my losing streaks will never last. I've noticed this before; the first evening of a new season, there's been a large influx of partied up veteran/competitive players that decimate my solo queue team.
