Topic: Splatoon 3

I have a strong feeling we are getting SO in the Chill Season update since that is near the realest of the amiibo as well. I don’t remember the exact dates but OE and the OtH amiibo released close together.

@WoomyNNYes Yeah I did join the fun when I saw that you were online. You splatted me as well, I was doing a super jump and and that splat bomb that blew me up was yours, lol! I'm not the best Splatoon player, but I think I'm decent at it.

And yeah, I'd like to know when Side Order's gonna come out, I'm holding off on getting the Splatoon 3 DLC because of that. I've finished all of Splatoon's story modes, including the Octo Expansion, so I'm all ready for it.

I'm pretty sure we're going to get Side order news at the next direct (probably early September) because there's usually a segment for Splatoon 3. Most times they've just announced splatfests, but we already know about the splatfest (and big run) happening in september, so that doesn't leave much to talk about except for Side order.

Oh, wow. That hilarious.🤣 I didn't realize that. Now I have to find that match and watch the replay.

I have 4-5 days left to achieve the 30 levels of my catalogue needed in order to fully complete it before Drizzle Season kicks in.

I think I'm 3-5 catalog levels away from getting the Nineties Nylon Jacket, level 90.

@Fizza If you're grinding battles, it's also a good time to use food tickets to earn 2X battle cash, or 2X battle XP (if you want to earn extra weapon tickets. New season is bringing new weapons). Because of salmon run, I was sitting on a lot of 2x battle xp and 2x battle cash tickets.

I finished my catalog and am at Level 67 of my second one, because I like this game a normal amount.

Just made it to level 50 on my second catalog, would be higher if it weren't for salmon run giving so little catalog progress. The only season I didn't finish the catalog for was fresh season and I will never forgive myself for it.

@BingleyBongley As someone who's also been feverishly grinding out their catalogue before the season ends, if you're looking for the quickest way to grind out levels, I think the mode that gives you the highest amount of points is Anarchy/Ranked. I usually get about 1500 minimum every time I win a match in there so if efficiency is what you're after, that'd be my suggestion.

Going Salmon Run is also pretty good as well though as you're able to multitask grinding the catalogue alongside getting scales and rewards

**Has anyone else been getting motion/stick-drift-like issues when a match starts in Turf War???
The issue never lasts, but it's made some matches unplayable. The problem goes away, like if you close splatoon 3, or possibly if you die in a match. This has happend like three or four times now. And I first encountered the issue, maybe in the past week, and I keep forgetting to mention it here.

The camera drifts slow & steady to the right or left. And it really screws with your ability to aim & play, obviously. The issue starts at the beginning of a newly loaded stage. I think it's even happened when I've come back to the lobby after a match. The issue has never occurred outside of the lobby or online turf war match. So, it doesn't appear to be an issue with controller hardware.

@WoomyNNYes I've actually had something similar happen to me as well, though not to the severity that you seem to be experiencing. Usually it'll drift slightly to the left or right before fixing itself within a second or two but I won't lie and say it hasn't cost me some splats that would've been guaranteed otherwise.

@WoomyNNYes It happens to me sometimes, I think mostly if I move the controller around too quickly or bump it or something. Just putting it down and leaving it still for a sec should fix it.

@woomynnyes That happens to me while I am aiming to launch out of the Spawner Drone at the start of the match but usually goes away once the match starts. Not sure what will help you.

Is this a new/recent issue? Has anyone seen this issue before the past week, or before August? I'm only encountering it now.

@WoomyNNYes I think its always been a problem. I skipped out on splatoon 2, but heard that drift was really bad in it. I don't find it that annoying because its usually only at the start of the match, when I'm farming my special and don't really need to aim. Just try to ignore it, and hope that they patch it for drizzle season.

@WoomyNNYes Huh, I don't recall that happening to me. Sometimes my gyro aiming would feel off when I aim toward my starting position, but I'd just reset my gyro aiming afterward. That's really it for me.

Finally reached A- in ranked! I used to play ranked on and off but this year I’ve been playing it more than turf war which gets boring a lot. I only reached B ranks before so putting in the effort into ranked has been fun. I know it’s definitely going to get more challenging but I’m here for it
