@Fizza Wait, that affects regular jumps? I didn't realize that at all. I thought it would make super jumps go faster, or something like that. I would play that challenge again, but it's not there anymore. Really don't like how the challenges are only on certain times.

@WoomyNNYes Did you send me an in-game invite? If you did, sorry I couldn't join you. I tried doing just that, but the game told me that your lobby was closed.

@MarioLover92 Ehh, the invite feature is kind of junk. You can only act on the invite if you're not in a match, and 98% of the time, people are usually in a match. I've tried joining a family friend several times, and it never works out. Sometimes people stay with their teammates, and a spot doesn't open. Sometimes you wait for someone to finish their match, and it turns out, they weren't going to play another round. And Salmon Run can last anywhere from a couple minutes to like 12-13 minutes? (if you get a king salmonid), which I rarely have the patience to wait more than 7-10 minutes. The invite feature sends an invite to every switch friend that's online in splatoon. I created a room and knew I created it in vain, and I closed it.🤣

Just an FYI, the Catalog Close Out is now active! You can get a bonus on leveling up you catalog so now is the time to finish it out before Drizzle Season begins!

How could Shiver and Frye do this?! All Big Man did was try to make some good music, and in the name of closing cultural divides (no money in his heart either). And not only do they BEAT HIM UP, but in the interest of getting a slice of the takings. And they talk about the Squid Sisters as if they've never met them, and despise their guts.

BM's definitely getting my vote for the coming Splatfest.

I love Liquid Sunshine and as a regular on both the Inkopolis and Splatsville Plazas I think I it was a great collab! Leave Big Man alone Shiver and Frye!!

I want a Side Order update. I know this is a given in this thread, but I'm getting nervous that it's going to be pushed back beyond the one year anniversary of Splatoon 3 launch.

(Octo Expansion released one year after Splatoon 2 launched, for anyone that is new to Splatoon. Splatoon 2 launched in july, then Octo came july of the next year.)

@WoomyNNYes Octo Expansion was June 2018 where they used the "out tomorrow" reveal strategy at the E3 2018 Splatoon 2 tourney. Given still no sign of Side Order, the only way I see it happening with the next season is if Nintendo does a Direct on August 29th/30th as August 31st (2am UK time I think?) is when the update happens.

I'm thinking though that Direct will be early September and Side Order being November or February.

I have a strong feeling we are getting SO in the Chill Season update since that is near the realest of the amiibo as well. I don’t remember the exact dates but OE and the OtH amiibo released close together.

@WoomyNNYes Yeah I did join the fun when I saw that you were online. You splatted me as well, I was doing a super jump and and that splat bomb that blew me up was yours, lol! I'm not the best Splatoon player, but I think I'm decent at it.

And yeah, I'd like to know when Side Order's gonna come out, I'm holding off on getting the Splatoon 3 DLC because of that. I've finished all of Splatoon's story modes, including the Octo Expansion, so I'm all ready for it.

I'm pretty sure we're going to get Side order news at the next direct (probably early September) because there's usually a segment for Splatoon 3. Most times they've just announced splatfests, but we already know about the splatfest (and big run) happening in september, so that doesn't leave much to talk about except for Side order.
