Am I in a world where everything is huge, or have I shrunk?

I think everything is huge. Never really thought it about it that way. Always assumed everything is Big, not the other way around.

Nobody really knows, many a brilliant men and women have pondered this since the late 80's and early 90's. It's like where did that other sock go, nobody really knows

Mario is perfectly capable of shrinking in size. So it could really be either way.

The land is named "giant" land though, I think. So that implies the things there are naturally larger.

Like @Eel said, given the lands name is "Giant Land" (and Land of the Giants in other languages), it's pretty well implied everything else is huge while Mario is normal size. It was even shown this way in the Mario 3 cartoon.

If you notice Mario doesnt change size at all. His sprites are the same size in world 4 as they are in every other world, only the enemies, and objects changed size, which means the as others have said It's a land of Giants.

I've always thought that everything's naturally huge there. It's clearly called Big Island (or Giant Land), after all!
