@LinkxPeach I'm not too sure what conversation this thread is trying to achieve and I apologise if I miss the point, but I promise you if you want to pay a vendor $400 for a Switch, they won't mind and may close early.
Okay, ty.

"The Nintendo Switch needs to have an UI similar to the Nintendo 3DS. That has a 3x5 menu, and shows other apps, and games to played. The battery life for the Switch should last about 8 hours. It’s perfect."
It sounds very Nonsense.
It's up to Nintendo to design Switch UI. 1x1 square is a perfect size to be displayed in handheld mode and TV mode.
Also, expecting 8 hours for Switch battery, you can consider the V2 / OLED version with better batery life.
And you can dock your Switch to play longer.
"Why would this thread be a bait post?"
I mean, you played PS4 with 1x1 square UI but complaining Switch UI for having 1x1 square UI like PS4 ??
Stop making excuses and get over it.
@LinkxPeach It needs to have this, it needs to have that, It just needs to have everything for you to like it doesn't it? Well I need the switch to have gameboy games, I need the switch to have better graphics, But it doesn't, and bc of that you don't think nintendo should sell there console for 400$ even tho you could dock the switch and not worry about battery?
Nintendo are like woman, You love them for whats on the inside, not the outside…you know what I mean! Luzlane best girl!

Some people can't stand an type of criticism to anything they are remotely fond of
I mean I'm all for critisism, just read through any of the speculation threads, but this thread is just nonsense. I mean none of these are legitimate concerns and even the ones that are are such old news it's not even really relevant at all.
Who cares what the Switch's UI looks like, it's a UI. The only purpose of a UI is to get you to the applications you want to load. The Switch does a good enough job of this and I'd argue a better job than Nintendo's more recent systems. I mean the main issue on the Wii in terms of UI was the split between games stored on the SD card and games stored locally. The Switch doesn't have that issue. And on the Wii U download management was it's own menu which is a process that's more streamlined on Switch. Also the 3DS was an invredibly slow UI in parts, particularly on earlier hardware
Other complaints? We're just retreading old news and hardware limitations that are well behind us. For example the N64 "not having much memory" or whatever. We're talking about the size of N64 games here I assume. Sure, that hurt Nintendo in the 90s and their decision not to use optical media did make their console cheaper. But the main reason it hurt was because cartridges were significantly more expensive than CDs which is a cost Nintendo was willing to wear for a higher spec console (N64 was faster than the PS1) with faster load times. It was the wrong gamble..... but it was 25 years ago and has nothing to do with the Switch or its RRP.....
