Topic: Rocket League (Switch)

So...it's rare...and...not much...TwT

@Joeynator3000 I don't know exactly what you get, I just made the topper part up. It's probably better stuff than that but yeah, 5 hours is a long time to watch other people play a game I own.

It just...seems not worth my time...was hoping you'd at least get something from a stream or something. Regardless of how long...

How long do these streams last?, is it on now?

Was, and I dunno, I assume it's quite long.

Still nothing after the stream yesterday. oh well.

@Dizzy_Boy What camera settings are you using? That clip looks very zoomed in? I recall being advised to make the camera more zoomed out, making your vehicle smaller, so you had a wider field of vision.

Actually. Anyone here have recommended settings for this game?

@Dizzy_Boy I tinkered with the settings on mine soon after buying the game and then never bothered to tweak them any further. Might be an idea to play around with them some more but already fear, I'm too used to how I currently have it, lol!

I agree, best to play with what you're most comfortable with. I just wondered if they was certain settings where a general consensus existed?

Have this, would like to play with you lot at some point! Is there any voice chat on Switch or is that a daft question?

@monkeyspasm We've had mid-week games nights on ROCKET LEAGUE for the past two or three weeks. For example, half a dozen or more of us all played it til late last night.

...Okay so I finally decided to play this game some today, and online...I still suck, even though I sometimes manage to get a decent goal. Anyways playing with randoms suck, anyone wanna play sometime? I rather have someone be a goalie since I'm not good at that. (and the randoms I play with are always mindlessly chasing the ball)

Watched till 11pm still didn't get any drops. :/ I think it's just broken for me.

I've been playing more Rocket League lately. I'm certainly better than what I was when I started but there's still room for improvement. I think I'm better at offense but I often take the role of a goalie since no one else wants to be one.

I've only been playing with randoms. I actually got my second party invite today from one of the users here but pressed decline by accident. Oh well, I stopped playing soon afterwards anyway.

This is what annoys me, my opponents are always experts, and my team always go after the ball like crazy. Even worse is that I'm terrible at defending, I prefer to take the center stage and look for a decent time to hit the ball in.

So it took 4 streams and the only drop I got was a banner. :/ oh well better than nothing I guess.

Rocket league is the worst game ever made. Combine soccer (horrible European boring sport) with motor cars (dudebro magnet) and you get a game that’s for degenerates.

As a 46 year old I’d much rather play a good wholesome game like Pokemon any day of the week. That belongs on the switch.

Cool bro real amazing criticism, I think rocket league dev's Will totally take your advice. hey, while we are at it why are you playing a kids game, surly you've grown out of Pokémon at 46. I mean it's an oversimplified rpg with an aim at kids, so by your logic it's for kids.

To all those who say they begrudgingly take the role of goalkeeper... I don't think you're playing it right. The game is too dynamic for playing with fixed positions. Unless you're the world's best goalie you're not doing your team mates much good by hanging around your own goal all day.

It's just...NO ONE defends and we end up losing horribly.
