We might need to pick a different night in future? Try to get more players? Still not entirely sure what is best mode to play for these game nights. Unless we actually get teams and enough players for big tournament?

@Mintendo Ha! Ha! I won the first ever NL Elderlies Cup against @Oorwullie - last week? Then he beat me straight away after, lol! The crown is now yours and I suspect based on how good a player you are, your reign as champion will last longer than mine.

Have you played against @Jbs-Dad ? I bet that would be a great match. Or you two should team up.

Yeah, GGs all! Aside from the odd landslide (like the pummelling I took in the final of the Wise Old Owl's Cup! ) the matches were generally pretty close ..and I'd never really played 1v1 or 2v2 before, so had a lot of fun trying!

If there are 4 of us in a party and we drop in to a casual 4v4 match - would we all be on the same side? If so, that could be fun to try? ..or there's that mode with weapons - dunno if it was possible to turn them on in the settings for a crazy change of pace? ..I had a lot of fun regardless - but I'd be more than happy if you wanted to mix things up a bit next time around

EDIT: Out of interest, what happens when you get knocked out of a Tournament? Do you spectate the final, or have a third-place play-off or something...or just return to the lobby?

EDIT: I seem to be plagued with occasional connection issues with ROCKET LEAGUE.

@Lroy Oh I don't mind - we're slowly figuring things out together (like the 'no pre-tournament party' rule!)

I'm happy just to go with flow really - if you (or whoever hosts) wants to fiddle around with a few settings next time around, that's a-ok with me...if not, I'm cool with that too

@Bunkerneath Out all day tomorrow but will look out for you online another time. Glad to hear you enjoyed BAYONETTA 1 & 2. It's a series I always tell myself to try but never quite pull the trigger. A bad first impression caused by the inferior PS3 port of the first game somewhat tempered my enthusiasm. Hopefully, a demo will come to Switch?

I bought Doom recently and was curious if anyone was interested in playing some rounds there? I find the game to be highly addictive.
