NGL, my first look at this thing made me think it was a regional variant of Diglett until I read the text confirming that it ISN'T. The internet is already having a field day with this one. XD
Our lord and saviour's reveal trailer has finally shown up.
Basically just going over what we learned from the Japanese side of things with a few new tidbits as well, such as its type being pure Water (big fan) and its abilities being Rattled and Gooey (making it the second mon ever to have that latter ability after the....well, Goomy line!) and being hard confirmed as the 'Garden Eel' Pokemon.

I'm curious as to what this'll exactly entail. Will it be a credits theme? Will there be a musician in the game based off of Sheeran? I haven't got a clue but I'm intrigued all the same.

Just got around to watching Sheeran's song for SV in full there and bloody hell: say what you want about the artist but that video is fantastic. Yu Nagaba's style is really well animated, the beat is catchy and hummable as all hell and its chock-full of wonderful references (that bit at the end that references The First Movie was such a nice surprise). I'm still wary on how it'll appear in the game (for the love of Arceus don't make it replace a typical credits theme) but after giving it a listen, I don't mind it nearly as much as I did earlier on.
Also slightly related, I love how Nagaba's artstyle is literally just:

@Fizza I get the feeling it'll end up being the credits theme, since Pokemon doesn't really do many lyric themes. It can't be an overworld or battle theme, given it doesn't hold the energy that it would... and it's most likely not going to be an opening theme, since they generally utilize the main series theme.

@VoidofLight If so, I'm curious as to whether the song's title could give us a hint in regards to the games. 'Celestial', while certainly fitting for a ton of Pokemon, isn't really referenced with Pokemon in the video, moreso in relation to the literal night sky rather than something like Cresselia for instance. If its a credits theme however, maybe the endgame of SV will involve the night sky in some capacity? Space is a big thing when it comes to Pokemon final legendaries (Rayquaza, Necrozma, Eternatus, etc.) so maybe that's what our 3rd Legendary will be like? This is 100% me reading way too into things but I think it'd be cool.
