Topic: Pokemon Legends Arceus

Made it to the credits, I guess its time I give some more of my thoughts eh.

This game, is just fun, its fun, its great, it just makes me feel happy when I play it LOL!

Catching the pokemon just feels so good in this game, back shots, throwing there favorite food to get a higher catch rate, smoke bombs, they didn't need to add all this stuff, but they did!
And its stuff like that I want to see from pokemon, change, I want to see them do different things you know.

And wile this game is far, and I mean far from perfect, its a good one. The story was pretty lackluster up and till the end, but the characters, are the one thing that made me want to see more, even tho the characters are pretty much what you'd see in any pokemon game.

I pretty much said all my thoughts on this game throughout the thread so I wont repeat myself, But there's still the end game I need to do, and I haven't even done a lot of the side quest, this game just keeps on giving!

Now that i'm in the end game, I can finally read what you guys are saying! (Not like yet, yet, but you know what I mean)

@NintendoByNature Its not just you. I think its because a lot of the fire types are rare in this game, or just hard to get.

This might also be the first I 100%, since I don;t have to trade and all that, so there's catching all the pokemon, the side quest, and the endgame, I really do the the side quest was a good idea, adds more content.

@NintendoByNature besides cyndaquil, magmar and ponyta... Chimchar, vulpix, growlithe, and flareon come to mind.

I've had a lot of time to reflect on Origin Dialga and Palkia, especially after seeing everyone f******* hate them, and honestly? I think they're some of the best mons Game Freak have ever made. Do I prefer them to the originals? PFFFFFFFFFFFT, fat chance. Dialga and Palkia are, imo, the best designed legendaries in the entire series and obviously these ones don't surpass them, let's make that clear.
But that's kind of the point. They're trying to become the new Arceus and thus change their own body structure to mimic it. However, in doing so, they're destroying their own strengths, such as Dialga converting it's hind legs and torso to Arceus' which makes it harder to stand it's ground to use Roar of Time and Palkia becoming a quadriped horse-esque thing like Arceus but losing it's arms in the process, making it harder for it to use Spacial Rend. They are some of the most intricately thought out designs ever made and I love how they looked at the old designs and actively tried to make them worse but in a really unique and fascinating way. I love these dudes now.

Again, I just need to talk about how the trainer makes all these different faces! It makes them feel more alive, and the end of the game really showcased this, even if it was for a split second.

@Eel I think so, and its kinda funny because till Fizza said something I didn't notice how much they look like arceus

@Fizza A friend of mine had a theory that The forms look incomplete, since they're trying to use Arceus' power, but their body can't really handle it, with it being sort of a divine punishment. Dialga has it's gem blocking it's throat so it's harder to use Roar of Time, while, like you said, Palkia's lack of claws makes Spacial Rend hard to use.

@Eel It could be that Origin form doesn't mean the original form of the pokemon, but rather they're trying to achieve a form closer to their originator here, given the forms look entirely incomplete, and it's even noted that they're trying to replicate Arceus' power.

@Snatcher ok I thought so. Aside from cyndaquil and the others i mentioned,I haven't seen any others yet. maybe I saw a growlithe..I honestly can't remember though.

@Eel gotcha, I haven't seen many as of yet.

At last! It took longer than I expected, but not only did I get a shiny Zoroark in the end… I found two in the same mass outbreak!

@Sdelintwouters Not unless its interesting, maybe reddit? as those dumb news sites chart almost any post that gets on the hot list, so in short, as long as its fun, ya!

@Eel Congrats, so you would say your a shiny hunter per say? as this wouldn't be the first time you shiny hunted. I need to try your tech sometime.

Could someone explain how you keep outbreaks going? I'm trying to shiny hunt in whatever ones pop up and I'm catching almost all of them but they keep breaking before any shinies.

@Sdelintwouters I assume so, based on how many shinies are being found in them. I may be wrong though.

@DomGC Thanks for the help! Do you have to go back to Jubilife if you don't get the shiny or could you just stay at the camp and keep farming it?

@DomGC So I just found a Sneasel outbreak there, just to run through things: I save at camp, go to the Sneasels and do everything there, if the shiny isn't there, I reset, return to Jubilife, come back and then save at camp again?

@DomGC Thanks for everything. Also, literally as you were typing, I found an Alpha Sneasel that wasn't even in the outbreak which was hilarious.
