Topic: PAC-MAN 99

....No idea what to say about this one...what do you guys think?

I still think Mario 35 will always be my favorite...Tetris 99 I had way too many games end instantly for me because everyone targeted me and I game over'ed without a chance to recover. In Mario 35 all of my deaths were my own fault, I mean yeah sometimes it would get too chaotic and I'd die anyways if I'm out of coins/power-ups and there were ten million hammer bros or lakitus in my way or something. So, yeah, thanks for deleting this game from existence, Nintendo.

Anyways, we'll see how this one plays out...but I get the feeling it'll be like Tetris for me...

If its even close to as good as Pacman Championship Edition, it will be the best one of these. I think this is a cool idea, but seeing even a little bit of Championship Edition in this has me really excited.

Looks fun, I like Pac-Man quite a bit so I'm excited to try it out. Definitely looks like another worthwhile addition to NSO.

Though I will agree with @Joeynator3000...not having Mario 35 anymore kinda stings. Hopefully there will be a sequel that's even better. Maybe add SMB2, SMB3, and SMW to the mix?

I just wish they'd bring over the normal Pacman as well, since I'd rather play that. Some games just don't feel right when you have 99 other people playing at the same time in order to compete.

There's already like 10 different ways to play regular pacman on the switch though.

And I'd bet the paid content will have some version of it too.

@Eel Oh, then I haven't really been paying attention.

Very excited about this as a big fan of Pacman Championship Edition 2 (it looks similar) Looking forward to seeing what themes are available to download, apparently there's 20 of them! The music was amazing in Championship 2 so expecting some bangers.

And later in the year we have Bomberman Battle Royale coming for free as well! I do like this retro battle royale trend.

@Snatcher Yeah, I've got mine but not live yet. I'm kind of disappointed you can't unlock the themes. That was one of the things that kept me coming back to Tetris 99 and I also loved unlocking the levels in Mario 35.

Hope there's at least some badges we can earn in it.

I haven't played PacMan since I was a child. I also really liked Tetris 99, so I will definitely give this one a try!

I like the look of this, it's really cool to see that Nintendo's doing more of these free-to-NSO 99 titles. Love to see the Championship Edition gameplay elements blended in there too.

I'm not a big online gamer so I'll probably end up playing this once or twice and then never again, like Tetris 99 and Mario 35, but I can see this one becoming very popular

This announcement is pretty cool, love me some Pac-Man. Among the thousands of games I've played in my life, Ms. Pac-Man for the Atari 2600 was the second video game I ever played. Just a timeless series. If you haven't tried it yet, I highly recommend the Pac-Man Championship Edition demake that's exclusive to the Namco Museum Archives Vol. 1.

Didn't know that was a thing, I might have to go check that out. Love me some Pacman CE

Already won within 20 minutes of starting. Love this so much more than Tetris or Mario so far

I've won once too. Does anyone know what the Train power-up does? I can't see a difference.
