@Roger_Brazil OK!
That orange & white Switch eshop screen you posted, where it asks "enter code", that is the Redeem Code page. If you buy a digital version of the game from amazon, or an online store, they give you a "redeem code". Once you are given that code, you open eshop, and enter that 16 digit code to download the game. You only need to do it once. The game will download and gets added to your Switch home screen.
Do you buy a digital game on Amazon.com or from a store?
@BruceCM is it possible his Brasil region doesn't have an eshop store? So all Roger_Brazil gets is the redeem code screen? And no ehsop store?
@Roger_Brazil If you open the Switch eshop, and only see that "redeem code" page, it might be that the Brazil region does not have an eshop store to browse & shop, for legal reasons. If this is the case, there are other ways to solve this.
Wow, I never thought of that, @WoomyNNYes .... Just googled & apparently they don't have the full eshop! Mexico does but Brazil doesn't. How weird? You'd have to change your Nintendo profile, I think, @Roger_Brazil, for the eshop to adjust. But people have done that or created alternate profiles, so it's definitely possible
@Roger_Brazil You can change eshop region. Your eshop region is tied to the region you select in your Nintendo account, on Nintendo's webiste. This is the only place to change your eshop region. (region settings on your Switch console don't affect your eshop.)
There is a catch here, though. Eshop will only accept currency of the region it is set to. If you set your nintendo account to USA, you will get the US eshop, but it only accepts US dollars. If you set to UK, it will only accept UK money(pounds).
To Mr. Bruce/Woomy and all others guys from this cool forum. I am so glad, after reading above message from everyone, I have decided to change my region, not on Nintendo Switch but via my nootebook, and for my surprise (instead of Brazil / USA) i have available my Eshop on my console.
Yeah, eshop region determined by the region setting in your Nintendo account on Nintendo's weblsite. (region settings on your switch console have no affect on eshop). They did that for security reasons. Not very intuitive, but that's how it works
@Roger_Brazil Just making sure you didn't miss this one point, if you set your eshop to USA, USA eshop will only accept US dollars. I don't know if that is a problem for you.
Yeah guys many thanks everyone. I can buy any digital games in my Brazilian currency but to get access Eshop was necessary change my region through my notebook
Hello buddy and so many thanks specially for you that since the begin has a very attention with me. Sorry for everyone If I wrote something here in English that someone dos not understand or misunderstood
@Roger_Brazil You may have things figured out, but I found a Nintendo page regarding Brazil's limited eshop for the Switch and digital purchases. If it's stuff you already know, you can disregard.
