Wow. The look and idea was so solid. I had pre downloaded it and today I thought I'd have a new game to kill time with... NOPE.
The game is sluggish, the design is poor, controller layout is messy, and just the overall presentation is very lazy.
I just tried it and uninstalled it pretty quickly, but it's not the game's fault it's mine. Far too many buttons and things to remember and I ain't got time to git gud and get rekt by 12-year-olds xD
I just wanted to shoot the disc in the hole and be done with it.
Plus this game will be dead in a few months if other games like this are anything to go by.
The game actually has a 9/10 rating on steam from almost 12’000 people.
So apparently the game’s doing something right.
I honestly kinda enjoyed it and I found the characters to be pretty charming.
I played about five hours and unlocked three characters, it has its issues, and the switch version needs some more optimization, and I think it needs to explain things better. Other than that I, really enjoying my time with it, and find it a fun ftp game.
I feel like if you don’t like mobas tho you won’t like this, it doesn’t play like a moba at all, but it’s layout is like one in a way, idk how to explain it lol.
@Owl1 there are a lot of meme ones I agree, but tbh, I find steam waaaay more reliable, mainly just because you can sort through the disliked and the liked ones, and you can get both perspectives.

@Owl1 Oh I have definitely seen that one before, maybe they make up the score as well, im not sure honestly, but games that are good most of the time have great scores on steam. Cuphead, god of war, hollow knight, so many great games have great scores. However, you’re right, there are a lot of meme ones, like a lot, shrek is also there all the time.
That’s not to say, this game, has a lot of issues, a lot of issues I hope are fixed, but it’s definitely not the worse I’ve seen, if ninjala can still be alive through it all, I can’t see why this can’t with a few fixes, as long as they listen to the player base, they should be able to get the game back on the ground.
I still find it funny they called it poor man’s Pokémon unite, when they’re not really comparable in terms of gameplay.
Don’t get me wrong I like Pokémon unite, but like, I like it because it literally dumbs down mobas, long matches? Add a timer, items? Add a few support items, it’s literally mobas just heavily simplified, which I’m not saying is a bad thing, but to call this game poor man’s Pokémon, is vary funny because it’s like you said, poor man’s Pokémon unite is Pokémon unite lmao.
