@Barbiegurl777 It is the simplicity that makes that chat up line work and I liked the brilliance of how it's just lazy hiding behind being minimal.
Besides it's not like it's negging, those creepy incel attempts at chivalry (is there a name for that yet?) where they say they want to be a girl's knight or try to offer them their coat without knowing their name, bad puns, boringly predictable and it avoids misogynist tones.
@jump Tattoos are associated with criminals and thugs rather than "evil gaijin." So long as you pay for your food and get it into your mouth (without leaving a mess) eating in Japan works like any other country. Japanese staff do not want cash tips but neither are they "insulted" by a foreigner's misguided attempt or lack of slurping. Calling a bidet with buttons "insane" sounds awfully provincial but it's your sudden and unprovoked slide into culture war gibberish that really leaves me scratching my head.
@TurboGrafx99 I'm just relating some of my experiences of Japan as there is an element of culture shock for people going there for the first time rather than starting a culture war and even said it's a great place.
Now if I really wanted to start a culture war... I'd bring up all that weird underage idol stuff. ;p
