@ThanosReXXX I can see why people would like it with it's quirky sense of humour and unique gameplay and yes Nimoy certainly stands out but I personally find it all a bit creepy to play it myself. I am glad the game has its fans though and is still fondly remembered. If we are talking Dreamcast games that would be great to remake I'd personally love to see Crazy Taxi male a return.
@Bevinator I'm a late adopter myself. Bought my own Dreamcast somewhere in between 2008 and 2009 (or was it 2007? My memory is a bit clouded... ), but I had already been playing many of its games at a friend's house, who's much more of a console collector than me...
And I also struggle with finding the time to use all the consoles and play all the games that I own, but I've never regretted getting a Dreamcast. On the contrary: it's probably one of my favorite consoles ever.
@bluemage1989 Yeah, that's a nice game too, but I've already played that on Dreamcast, PC, Xbox 360 and Xbox One, and it's hardly obscure. A re-imagining of it, though... (perhaps even a mix of all three games so far released)
@ReaderRagfihs Ha! That's hilarious. Thanks for the entertainment.
Kinda weird for me, though: I only knew the Omegle Webcam channel from decidedly different kinds of content...

A remaster of Ghost Trick, a true gem of NDS, stimulates my fantasy but I can't quite get how it could possibly work with docked mode.
I would love a port of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon blue rescue team and explorers of Sky from NDS, which could be pulled off using the gba version(red rescue team) control scheme.
A port of Zelda minish cap would be greatly appreciated as well, even more so than those I previously suggested, since I could play it with my girlfriend, who has 100 percented it many times.
Also I think NES solstice would be a great addition for the switch online library, even though I am not a subscriber currently. I remember a 100% run of it I made 4 years ago with emulator and ps3 controller (I own both the original nes and solstice. The nes was my first console).
How about a collection of Mario vs Donkey kong? I remember my gbasp bundled with the first installment of the series, man if it was good.
@ThanosReXXX I haven't played the series myself since the (I think) third instalment quite a few years ago on the original Xbox and I think yes a reimagining of the series would be a great. I think the game is quite obscure, obviously not to anyone on this forum but to the general (and younger) gaming market today. I will check out the Xbox One version as I never noticed it was on there (don't really browse there store to often) for some retro vibes. While on the subject of Crazy Taxi am I only person who can't make sense of that logo??
this is not really obscure but off the top of my head I would like a decent kirby game. not a safe run of the mill snore fest like the previous title but something a bit more bold and daring and 3d. the pink fluff is full of potential its sad seeing hal playing it so safe with the ip..
Forgot to mention in my initial comment that I would also like to see a re-imagined version of Eternal Darkness, or that infamous sequel that looked pretty good but never became unstuck from the development hell that it has ultimately remained in.
And personally, what I'm fantasizing about, sometimes, even though I know that's NEVER going to happen, is Commodore Amiga VC titles. That home computer had SO many great games, and most if not all multi-platform titles looked superior in comparison to consoles of the time as well.
@Madder128 I'd second a remake of Geist. Give it a nice, modern overhaul, fix some of the lesser qualities and it could potentially become a hit title.

@JackEatsSparrows Hm, Gex. I actually enjoyed those games on the N64, so decent choice as well.
Don't know if you know or remember this one, but the GameCube, PS2 and Xbox had Scaler, which I always considered to be somewhat of a spiritual successor to those games.
As for Eternal Darkness: that's very high on my list. Even an HD remake would be fine, although they would have to implement new sanity effects, to account for modern TV's and the fact that it's running on a different console, but I think it could work. Just imagine the game telling you that your JoyCon or Pro Controller has lost connection...
And how did you like the beta videos of the never released sequel? I'm actually sad that it never came out. It really had the same look and feel, and I would have loved seeing it being released on the Wii U or on the Switch.

@ThanosReXXX I saw Scaler, but never got around to it. I did enjoy Geist, though!
They could do all sorts of Sanity effects now, and unless someone was familiar with the old game they’d freak out in fits. Once I stared for 10 minutes because I didn’t know if my disc legitimately had load problems, or whether it was stuck on a sanity Effect. (It was a scratched disc, but still 😂)
Yeah, that would have ended up well on WiiU. Drawing on the pad, make it blurrier the lower your sanity was.

@JackEatsSparrows Haha, yeah, those effects were good. Back then, I had the exact same green-colored on screen display as they had in the game, so the volume controls looked spot on. Almost drove me actually insane. That and the "controller is unplugged" message. Panicky but good times...
Another reasonably obscure game I recently remembered, and one that could be a perfect candidate for the Switch, whether in its original or in an updated form, is Operation Darkness. An original turn-based strategy game by Atlus, which came out for the Xbox 360 in 2007, but only in Japan and the USA.
There actually was a PAL version planned, and there was even a demo on Xbox marketplace (still have it installed on my Xbox 360), but it has disappeared now, and sadly, the game was ultimately never released in Europe.
I really enjoyed the demo, and would have loved to play the entire game.
By now, the graphics have aged quite a bit, but the story is delightfully cheesy and the gameplay is still solid, and good fun, if you're into that kinda thing. The real history part of it, is also pretty detailed.
Atlus really did their homework there, among other things by adding a considerable amount of historic footage, so that could also be another part of the attraction for some of you.
To set the stage, imagine an alternate Earth universe, where vampires and werewolves use World War 2 as a cover up for their eternal struggle. Of course, the vampires choose the side of the Nazis (dòh), so you and your team of werewolves mixed with normal humans, need to clear Europe of both Nazis and vampires.
Here's a trailer and a gameplay video of the first part of the game for the curious/interested among you:
