@GameOtaku
I see what you're saying, but again, that's not in the parameters the devs decided for the speedrun.

I'm still in shock. I never expected to actually do this well in any of the challenges - even the easiest ones

@PikaPhantom That's awesome, congrats! The highest I've gotten was in the top 0.8% of players in One on 1-1.

@MarioVillager92 @Lazz Thanks! I still don't really know how I managed to pull off a frame perfect run, but it'll definitely be the highlight of my time with the game

I really wish that we could see past performance on weekly challenges. I hadn't played the game in a few weeks, and I wanted to see how I performed in week 2...and could not figure out how to see anything past the most recent results.

@PikaPhantom your results inspired me to get back into this game

@Lazz Glad to hear it. I think you can see your past rankings listed when opening games in Speedrun Mode, but your replays are gone after a week

Definitely having fun with the game. More than I thought. But tbh, it kind of makes me want to just replay a bunch of nes games. With that said, I just fired up Zelda II and I'm doing the first palace and beginning goodies tonight.

Well, that’s unfortunate. Bought the deluxe edition of both the NA and JPN games and they use the system language to boot the version. I hate it when games do that. For one it means that both games are multilingual (and thus a waste of money to import) and for two that means I have to reboot if I wanna play in Japanese. Plus now I gotta find someone to give this game to (I don’t do sales on ebay and don’t feel like dealing with gamestop to only get a few dollars back). Well at least I got the deluxe items to go along with the games.

Just keep one pretty much unplayed in really good condition? Hold on to it for a few decades and see what happens to the price.

@rallydefault even if I did believe in reselling (which I don’t. Games are for playing not profit imo. And I remember being a broke gamer. Resellers make the hobby even more difficult to break into.) I have opened both, so the value would plummet anyway. I asked a few of my friends that have switches but buy games sparingly, if any of them want it. Whomever gets back to me first, I’ll give it to. It’s just inconvenient. So I am annoyed.

Yea, I also believe games are made to be played, it's just a unique situation that you have an extra copy.

I think you've found a good solution regardless!

So just wondering, is it common for people to get first place and top 0.1% in rankings? cause i did for Pop It (38955 participants) last week somehow, but it looks like tons of people have. :3

BRING NINJI INTO MARIO KART WORLD RIGHT NOW.

1.43 seconds is the fastest possible time. I got 1.45 and ranked at #22528. It's only really common on the short, normal difficulty challenges, but Pop It is especially brief and lacks much room for error, so I imagine that's why.

Not attaching a video this time, but I managed to get 2 #1s in last week's event. Granted, I'd come across the perfect strategy for Don't Go Alone on YouTube and just implemented it, so I don't take any real credit for it. But Balloon Bopper? I grinded that one for quite a bit, and it definitely wasn't easy. I mean, in-game it's considered hard, but Balloon Fight isn't especially intuitive. I imagine I tied with far less people, so I feel quite proud of it.
