Topic: Nintendo UK Store attempted customer service

Has anyone got any advice on how to get through to these guys? Basically, they told me they'd dispatched an N64 Switch controller 6 weeks ago. It never left their warehouse as shown on the tracking. I'm now in an unbelievable situation where their response to every email tells me it's been 'escalated' to another department. Clearly, they have none of these left, but I can't understand why they can't just refund me.

I've phoned the UK Nintendo phone line and the guy was very apologetic and said he has this chat every day, but he had no idea how to help.

Any advice is welcome!

@mjtaylor76 Where you shipping it to? Mine always gets out the warehouse but then bounces back from the distribution centre as they never put the customs form on it, as it's going to Guernsey.
As @WoomyNNYes says, my whole saga is on that other post. I have just given up on that site as they are so useless, I really wish there was a way to complain to Nintendo directly, but if you email about the Store is automatically sends it to the store.
In the end they say that I have to message then 15 mins after any order to make sure they put the correct labels on the package, as obviously their delivery people are STUPID and cant read an address.

Hi, thanks for the reply. Just read your thread. I'm having a very similar experience. Just posting to mainland England, nothing unusual. How long was it before you got a response which actually made sense?

It's been 6 weeks now since it was supposedly posted. I did their crazy form etc... Every time I contact they tell me it's been escalated and I have to wait. I had an online chat this week and asked her how long this might take and the reply was 'We are not allowed to give you that information.' Argghhhh

I don't know if trading standards or something like that might help?

@mjtaylor76 It took ages for me to get them to admit it was their fault for not putting on the customs form.
If you want a reply, if you put in the word COMPLAINT, they (by law) have to reply within 48 hours, but this could just be a holding email, but they have to actually address the query with I think its a week.
But to be fair, they are just crap anyway, good luck with yours.
I caved and went to eBay, luckily found an N64 controller for £45 buy now free postage, and received it in two days, an eBayer did what Nintendon't

@Bunkerneath you done a really good job getting one for 45 quid, nice one! I think they go for like £90 in cex
