When does royal mail stop delivering today does anyone know?

i just spoke to Nintendo UK, and asked them if they have an estimate for my order (as it should be here today), and they said

"It does, however this is usually wrong as our store team used a Next day delivery service, and the estimate is much later than that (i.e. next week) which is of course, incorrect."

They kept giving excuses and not actually getting down to what i want to know.....where is my switch?!

I think i'll get one from Argos as they are availble and refuse delivery of this one when it comes next week some time.

@Kaligoth I think my friend got his Zelda BotW yesterday at 12pm yesterday, but I can imagine it can be quite late they'll be delivering, but can't say for certain. Although, I heard someone else say online who rang Nintendo saying that Royal Mail may do two different deliveries, so if they have already come for you, don't lose hope since it's a bigger delivery, it could still come!

I've had my email confirmation saying its been despatched but when I go to track my order royal mail says its not recognised, is anyone else getting the same? Having visions of some royal mail employee making off with my switch...

@Marcoloyo Also in the same boat, I wouldn't worry about RM employees taking off with it though ^_^ I think worst case scenario, we'll have it tomorrow. Which seems very likely at this rate.

Mine is going to a business address so if it doesnt come today (which im pretty sure it wont!) will be here monday.

Theres nothing worse than waiting on the delivery of the goodies, especially since Argos up the road has everything for collect and in collect.

My Switch and Zelda just been delivered by DPD.
Just a warning though guys, the zelda package was completely ripped open, and the same happened with the Pro controller that arrived yesterday (again, box was damaged and open).

It seems Nintendo, or whoever is packing these things are not securing the boxes and they are coming apart in transit.
I don't know what state it is in yet as i'm in work until 4pm (someone took the package in for me) but this isn't good news.

@andy32hb Sorry to hear about your packaging, hopefully nothing is missing and everything is in good working condition. Since it came from DPD, guessing you ordered from GAME? Or was this from the Nintendo Store UK as well?

Yeah I don't think I will use Nintendo store next time. I was stood in GAME midnight picking up Zelda and they had some spare consoles for sale, if it wasn't for the fact Nintendo had already taken the money my family could be playing right now instead of worrying if it's even going to turn up today as it's 10.30 and my tracking code with Royal Mail isn't even recognised. That's what I get for trying to actually use my brain for once and think getting Nintendo product straight from Nintendo was the best way 😒

I feel better knowing I'm not the only one! @TooSpeedy I'm the same and I don't want to have to wait all weekend, been hard enought waiting till now!

well royal mail have been and delivered some accessories i order from game a day ago...no switch!

So some are getting UK Store from DPD? Okay...
