Hey, just made an account but have been checking in on this thread a bit today to nervously compare order status/emails received.
Half midnight yesterday I got an email from Nintendo UK store saying that my payment (PayPal) failed, didn't give a reason (there were enough funds) and said I had to "cancel and re-order"! I logged in to the store and my order had the prompt for new details which I put in.
Order still at Awaiting Dispatch on all parts, received the email saying it would be dispatched yesterday and arrive today but no dispatch email. My mate who ordered at the same time was charged (I still haven't been) yesterday early, got the dispatch at 4pm. Needless to say I am not hopeful mine will arrive tomorrow.
Very much contemplating chancing it early at a local GAME, then just cancelling the UK store one. Won't be using them again....irony is I only did so because it gave the option of PayPal, well that and the free t-shirt.
Anyway that's my rant, hope everyone's lucky and they turn up.
Bf is already in line at the Best Buy. I suppose I underestimated just how many people would arrive 4+ hours early. There's a sizable line already. And for whatever reason they are mixing pre orders with walk-ins, making it harder to gauge if we'll be bale to get a console or not. We can only hope they let us know early on if we'll be able to make it.
Does anyone know if there is a chance Nintendo UK store would be using Gnewt cargo delivery company?
I seem to have something arriving tomorrow with no info about what it is, could be glory in the form of my Switch and Zelda or could be something trivial.
Still 'Awaiting Dispatch' online so I am not hopeful, but the uncertainty is not making this easier.
@Mintberry_Crunch I didn't have trouble with ordering mine, but my Switch and Breath of the Wild Limited Edition still says Awaiting Dispatch too... I'm not being too hopeful about getting it today, but I'm just hoping something went wrong in updating it to dispatched, meaning it has actually dispatched and we'll be happily playing it today... But we will see. Otherwise it might be wise to contact Customer Support.

I am very much hoping the same thing regarding the status online.
Apparently I have two packages coming from them, says from The Hut Group who when I searched seem to be a supplier and have almost the same Switch page as Nintendo UK Store so I am slightly more optimistic.
Also this courier company is actually based only a few streets away weirdly.
However the status isn't favourable and I still haven't actually been charged so I am keeping expectations low. Sent a message to customer support and they said payment had been sorted but was very generic message.
Here's hoping we'll be happily playing it today indeed.
Mine says awaiting dispatch and the money has been taken out, might call them up and see what's going on, if its going to take too long, i'm gonna request a cancel and go to Argos
My official U.K. Store order is already in my town at the local sorting office so will hopefully be with me very soon! Well done Royal Mail. My amazon order is about 3 hours away too
I received my Royal Mail tracking number yesterday. Still says not recognized with both Royal Mail website and phone number. Can't contact Nintendo U.K. Store. Royal Mail have been and delivered a parcel from game to me so I doubt I'll be getting my Nintendo switch from Nintendo today. Luckily my local Argos has some in stock so I've fast track ordered it from there and I'm on my way to pick it up. Very upset at Nintendo
@SammiiCake Tried to call, but it said they're on a training day till 3? Wtf, so i put in a email request for a cancellation
Edit: Never mind, managed to get through on the phone, on hold listening to Zelda music
@connicron Training day on the launch of the Switch?! That would be ridiculous! But good luck! Mine was dispatched like 10 minutes ago though, although looking to see what they say still.
