Whether there is a new Switch or not, Nintendo have a huge dilemma with their current users. Will the new Switch be fully BC? Will Nintendo disregard current Switch owners with the new Switch's exclusive games like what they've done since forever (GBC, dsi, new 3ds, etc.)? Will Nintendo be forced to create cross-gen games to please current Switch owners? Will they "Deluxify" their most successful Switch games at full price.... again?

There are many people expecting the new Switch's games to work on their current Switch. Nintendo might do it with their games, but that will be too difficult for 3rd parties to do if the new hardware is significantly stronger.

Midlife Switch lifespan doesn't equate if they make a new Switch or not since that will use different chipset so why people just hand onto Midlife crises is beyond reason. The New Switch isn't going to use the v2 chipset so one can hang on to MidLife crisis all they want. Let this be known a New Switch won't be using v2 chipset for better performance and Display output.
