@SmashBall35 well I can replace the thermal paste. Only problem is I don't know what kind of thermal paste is best to use.

I also don't know how much I need to use.

That's why I have a repair center close by that can help if I need help years from now (if they don't close down which I don't think they will close down any time soon).

Maybe down the line I can get a girlfriend that knows how to repair the switch and knows how to replace the thermal paste so I don't have to take it to the repair shop lol

That’s true. That’s pretty nice to have a repair shop so close, but a girlfriends always nice too. 😉

I guess you could Google or YouTube it. Everything’s on YouTube nowadays… 😆 At least the paste doesn’t look too expensive if you had to buy it though.

@SmashBall35 do you play your switch, 99% docked or 99% handheld?

Docked all the time except for when I go on trips or one of my friends is watching tv because I like the big screen better than the switch screen. Also, the joy cons become uncomfortable in my hands after a while on handheld.

I think the launch. I also got an OLED a week after it came out. I might get a light but that’sa small chance

Do you play it every day or just on occasion?

I can play for 3- 4 hours a day (but I will take 1 hour cool down then play the switch for an hour then cool it down again) but 3-4 hour play time total but some days I am not able to play the switch at all.

I usually don’t have time to play on weekdays so it’s usually just weekends. Usually I’ll play for 45 minutes- 3 hours. It just depends on what I’m doing that day.

I hope my switch don't get overheated as much.

Do you know what signs I should look out for if it does overheat?

I guess if it gets too hot too touch that would definitely be a sign. Slowing down/unusual lag or long downloading time would be another thing to look out for. The switch will give you a warning if it does overheat too much by chance- so you should be ok.

@SmashBall35 cool. In 3- 4 years I would replace the thermal paste even if it doesn't overheat just to be on a safe side

@SmashBall35 ya. I will also tell the technician who does thermal paste replacement to clean the fans and the heat sink so it can be clean of dust

But I won't be doing it

@SmashBall35 did you get the Lego star wars Skywalker saga yet?

I recommend getting the deluxe edition if possible.

@SmashBall35 ya it's literally worth the money in my opinion. Having all 7 DLCS is a huge bonus

Plus it doesn't make the switch to hot has breath of the wild etc which is good for me

That’s nice. I do like games that have the dlc included in it. Is it a remake/port then? I haven’t been able to read into it too much.

If you ever played Lego star wars the complete saga on the Nintendo WII then this is 10 times better.

The skywalker saga is the best star wars game for the Nintendo switch

So this game is not a port like some games are

It's has been redone and better gameplay

Most people like the ps5 or the Xbox better because of graphics

I don't have a ps5 or Xbox I do have a ps4 which I could get the game but I prefer the switch

You miss out if you don't get it
