@sillygostly Welp, when you're right, you're right.
I definitely agree with the Wario underappreciation. The world needs a new Wario World, Wario Land, WarioWare, or any game with Wario as the main character. Whether it be Switch or 3DS, I'll give them my money. WARIO DESERVES MY MONEY. WAHHHHHH
Super Mario RPG (Switch, remaster or direct sequel. Alternatively, a prequel where you play as a party led by Peach as she saves the kingdom and becomes Princess of the Mushroom Kingdom)
Kid Icarus (Switch, in the vein of 3DS. But after smash)
Donkey Kong (3D, Switch)
Elite Beat Agents (Switch OR 3DS)

@sillygostly Was there a reason for Captain Toad? Did it need to happen? I think the answer is no, but it happened anyway. It was a small project, and it was profitable. And it was fun to play.
As for what they can do with it, like I said, there's potential for a 3D vertical platformer. There's this PC game called Frost Bite, and it's basically a 2D modern version of Ice Climber, in which you climb progressively taller mountains. So, it's like Ice Climber, but with actual levels and level design.
Now imagine this in 3D, Captain Toad style. Small compact levels that feature a big mountain (think Tall Tall Mountain or Cool Cool Mountain, but a little smaller in width and taller in height). The goal? Planting a flag at the top of it. You've got several items and abilities. There's plenty of enemies, traps, etc. I don't think they need to go open world with the franchise or any of that nonsense, but it certainly works as a solid 3D platformer.
Sure, I'm all for new IPs, but when one of their old IPs can effectively become a new IP, I don't see why they shouldn't do it. Same applies to Murasame Castle, there's a lot of potential for an open world adventure game set in feudal Japan. I've been saying this for years. Nioh did it, and now Ghost of Tsushima is doing it. And before you know Assassin's Creed is doing it. A missed opportunity. Nintendo could use a little diversity in their IP.
We have a Mario game on the Switch, Zelda, Mario Kart, Splatoon, Kirby, and soon Yoshi, Pokemon, Smash, Fire Emblem, Metroid and Pikmin. What's left? Animal Crossing, Mario Party and a new DK game? They still need another three or four years of new content. And instead of doing another Kirby, another Yoshi and another Mario Party, why not bring back some old IPs instead? Provided it makes sense of course. I can't see how they can repurpose Clu Clu Land for example, but something like Murasame Castle or Ice Climber? Sure, why not?
Eternal Darkness for sure. Would love a sequel to Sanity' Requiem, with Switch technology it could be amazing. Would be worth it just for an HD update, smoother framerate and HD rumble.

Remind yourself that overconfidence is a slow and insidious killer.
Definitely F Zero............As much as I do like Fast RMX there isn’t that many people playing it online anymore. I think F Zero would draw in a lot more players and keep them playing the game (especially if it receives regular updates, in the same way Splatoon 2 has been getting).
Also, Wave Race (one of my fave games from the N64 era). Imagine that game with 2018 level graphics (1080p 60fps docked, 720p 60fps handheld)!! And imagine that as an online multiplayer game....it would be mad!!!!
Snowboard Kids is another one I would like to see remade......would also make a great online multiplayer
@EvilLucario they definitely do!! There's a ton of IP's from the past that could definitely do well on the Switch. Whether it's a port or a reboot, it'd be good
Am I the only one that thinks, on the heels of failure after failure of WWE 2K series and not having a good solid wrestling game since No Marcy that Nintendo should look at their own wrestling IP?
Combine Xenogears/saga deep philosphical story and dark motif with Xenoblades great gameplay/exploration--it'd be hard to top that on a list of best JRPGs.
Kid Icarus. I know we got the 3DS title, and I liked that, but the controls were awkward and the game was just not comfortable to play despite it being pretty fun, with loads of good 4th wall breaking humor.
Heck I would take an HD port to the Switch of Uprising, but a sequel would be preferred.

@R_Champ Those aren't Nintendo IPs despite Monolith's partnership with Nintendo currently. That said, I LOVE Xenoblade and would love a chance to play the Xenosaga games without having to find them and dig out a PS2.

This doesn't exactly count because we've had a Paper Mario on every console since the N64, but Nintendo needs to bring back The Thousand Year Door-esque Paper Mario. TTYD is one of my favorite games ever, and is an absolute masterpiece. The last two Paper Mario games we've gotten were so incredibly weak compared to that one.
