Topic: Nintendo Direct 3/8/18 Predictions and Hopes!

I'd be very happy if they keep labo far far far away from the general gaming stuff they do. As cool as it is, I don't think they need the comments that would bring.

I would just like MH XX and PSO 2 released to the West please. That is all.

Hoping for Fortnite and some COD stuff. Seems the bedrock update for minecraft has been sent for certification at nintendo today, so maybe they will give us some information about that.

IGN revealed their predictions for the upcoming Direct - overall, they were pretty safe in their guesses (barely worth a read/watch to be honest) but one from left-field that they think has a chance is a Switch port/remaster of the original Metroid Prime Trilogy to whet our appetites for the upcoming MP4! ..gosh I'd love that!

I'd be ecstatic for an HD remaster that managed to preserve the motion controls while also allowing for traditional dual-sticks. I don't think it'll happen, but I'd love it

I think a port of the Metroid Prime: Trilogy with gyro-controls is pretty much a given at some point. Not sure if they'll announce it now though, but that really depends on how far along they are with Metroid Prime 4.

I'm thinking Prime 4 will be a mid/late 2019 release though, so I'd guess they'll save the Prime Trilogy for early 2019.

I would gladly take a CoD 4 port on the Switch. I didn't get the upgraded Xbox One edition. But did it come with all of the DLC maps? That would be sweet on Switch. But I couldn't see them giving us CoD 4 and BLOPS 4 in the same year though.

@DTMOF84 The idea of getting CoD 4 on Switch with all the DLC is nice.

Except remember when they remastered it sold the DLC again at a higher price.

I'm hoping for a Prime Trilogy on the Switch too. I've never played any of them before and would prefer to get it on Switch rather than get the Wii version.

As far as Metroid in general goes, I've been playing it a lot on GBA recently. Metroid Zero Mission is so good.

@YummyHappyPills I didn't know that about the DLC. Thats unfortunate. I'd still get the game and skip out on the DLC. I may have had one map pack on the 360 when I played it before.

@DTMOF84 They also added microtransactions to the multiplayer. Just....yeah.

@DTMOF84 The DLC for Remastered is the same DLC as the original game (Variety Map Pack with Broadcast, Creek, China Town and Killhouse).

@YummyHappyPills are you serious? Was it anything more than cosmetic upgrades?

@Grumblevolcano I figured it was the same DLC. I just didn't know if all that was included in the remastered game or not.

Hoping for the rumored Wario game and Link's Awakening remake/sequel for the 3DS.

There was an Amazon listing last week implying a PVZ GW3, if it’s real that would a nice 3rd party title and a cool surprise if it was announced here. Also, a while back after FIFA 18 on Switch case out, EA said they would wait until the end of the Fiscal year before announcing anything for Switch (if memory serves that is) and that just recently ended so I feel like EA could announce SOMETHING today.

Why would he say that unless he knows something? It's asking for trouble if they don't get announced.
