I think the Wonderful 101 tease is the more likely of the 2 tweets to actually be the case.

Theres quite a bit of demand for a traditional D pad. I don't see why they wouldn't release one at some point. You can already buy single joy-cons now. Why not offer one? I think some deluxe joy-cons would be nice too.

I definitely think it'll happen. We may even get lucky and have something like that announced today, especially since this year's focus is "peripherals". What better way to support that than with different joy cons for different needs? I fully expect gamecube joy con whenever that VC comes out

The more predictions I read and think of the more excited I get, I need to keep on telling myself I’m probably setting myself for disappointment, but then I think of something else they could announce😂

@DTMOF84 I think that a Joy-Con with d-pad is very possible. It's probably something they didn't think of before, but only starting thinking about that after they saw there was demand. But you know, those things can take a while, from internal consultations, to prototypes, to a final product, sending the blueprints to the factories and manufacturing enough of them to sell them, etc. That entire process could easily take a few months, even for something as 'simple' as a Joy-Con with a d-pad.

Nintendo Switch Direct Predictions w/ RabbidLuigi

I don't if NL are planning on putting this up on the main site but if they do, they'd better get a move on. There's only about 4 1/2 hours left until the Direct.

For me it's a successful Direct if 2 things happen:

• Hyrule Warriors Definitive Edition is an April release
• We get DLC info we didn't know was coming for at least 1 of last year's 1st party games (1-2 Switch and Snipperclips don't count )

I actually haven't seen any serious predictions that seem that unlikely to happen. I don't see many people who actually expect something like MP4, for example. If I had to put a label on the general hype people have for this, it'd be "It'll probably be decent but not super amazing". So I say congrats to the fans in general this time around.

It's definitely going to be the new game but the question is whether all of these announcements are crowding around the Direct because of Switch versions being announced or if the lack of Switch versions being used to make it very clear to people about the state of Switch 3rd party support.

EDIT: Turned out the announcement was at 17:50pm UK time and Black Ops 4 is confirmed with no Switch version.

@Grumblevolcano It’s a bummer Black Ops 4 isn’t coming to Switch, but MAYBE they are teasing us and it’ll be at the direct? Most likely not but who knows.
