IGN gave Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl a 7/10.

@WoomyNNYes Pretty much my same score. Basically a fun and polished fighting engine (especially for hardcore and casual joes) paired with different and mostly balanced characters. Just marred with a lack of not so egregious but still noticeable polish in animations, models and menu functionality, lack of single player modes, and no voice acting.

New free DLC outfits coming in December to Switch.

Wow. I'm surprised the devs are confirming all of this so quickly. Thought it would be at least take till at least January for all of this. Ya, there's still issues with the game that need fixing but I what they're going right now, gotta say, they're on task.

Guys, we have been delivered a triple threat of new characters. (Hmm this looks like a season pass...)

Starting off with the fan favorite: XJ-9 or Jenny Wakeman from My Life as a Teenage Robot. This swiss army knife of weaponary and teenage emotions is a robot built by Nora Wakeman to save the world but wants to live life as a normal teenager. Noted as a incredibly versatile character which pressures opponents from all distances. (Captain's notes: Wow. Jenny looks good! Can't believe they got the most requested character out ta gate!)

Coming sometime this Summer is another meme favorite next to Nigel Thornberry: Hugh Neutron from The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron. Famous for being a dad to Jimmy Neutron and sending people to the Shadow Realm. (Captain's Notes: Dear lord, they've fully embraced the memes..... can they get Dora and/or Goku in? And is Hugh's inclusion at the cost of a certain Boy Genius?)

And Coming sometime this Fall is for the 90's kids out there...or those who watched the Netflix movie: Rocko from Rocko's Modern Life. This wallaby tries to make sense of....modern life. (Captain's Notes: I'd thought he would premiere first to get the hype going in my hypothetical season pass. Ah well. Good to see him in.)

Jenny, the one character I have wanted since launch, today is good day, will probably wait to buy her tho, maybe when there is voice acting, because I’m sorry I didn’t really care at first but man, it hits hard.

it costs 4,99 to get Jenny , it costs 11,99 to get the other two (Hugh and Rocko) as well in a pack. Its not a free extra like Garfield or Shredder.

So with Jenny, Hugh and Rocko announced for Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl, are there any other characters you are hoping for?

Rudy and or Snap (Chalkzone): A show where a kid draws stuff from chalk and his friend is made of chalk. That kind of creativity would be awesome. Snap would be nice by himself but I don't mind a package deal. (Snap could as a sorta Luma where he stands a throws stuff and possibly lasso Rudy from out of bounds)

(Besides Timmy Turner) Vicky the Babysitter (The Fairly Oddparents): Vicky babysits kids with cartoonisly cruel and unusal punishment with parents being none the wiser. I want do see Vicky use her chainsaw or flamethrower or other weapons and also have her get some long overdue comeuppance.

Although Mr. Crocker or Jorgen von Strangle would be ok.....

Bessie Higgenbottom (The Mighty B!): A girl scout which dreams to be the Mighty B which she constantly have superhero persona dreams about by collecting badges and her finger drawn from a marker friend named..Finger. Just bring in her Mighty B persona a la Joker as a comeback mechanic and also use Finger and farts (Episode: Toot Toot) as aerial sweet spot attacks a la Zelda.

Otto Rocket (Rocket Power..I'm Ignoring XJ9's Rocket Power Move name) Otto can move fast with his skateboard and have his multiple skateboard tricks and possibly hockey, surfing and other sports as moves. TUBULAR!

Anne and Pony (It's Pony) Underrated show. Anne lives out with her Pony friend to live out their farm life with her family in the big city. (Yes it's kinda like Big City Greens) Anne and Pony would play kinda like Ren and Stimpy but act as a mount a la Golden Axe and Super Mario World trading speed for power if you mount Pony.

Vendetta and her hamster friend (Making Fiends) Underrated show #2 Probably play as somewhat of a combo of Ren and Stimpy since she has a big hamster fiend to do the dirty work and Zim since she has her fiends to make mischief.

Angus and Parker (Middlemost Post) Angus Not much of a fan of a show but I like to see the big mailman act as DK, Angus the cloud act as Luma like acting as Rain/Thunder to distract opponents and a pac man trampline style recovery and Russell the Walrus to Swallow and spit up projectiles.

Brainy/Hefty/Smurfette/Papa Smurf (The Smurfs) The smurfs would act as easy palette swaps on each other and since it's airing on Nick... I want to see these blue gnomes as fighters.

Miko/Hi-5 (Glitch Techs) Both of these guys have equipment based on video games which goes on missions to eliminate glitches that attack in the real world, basically it's more or less Men in Black. GO WATCH THIS SHOW! #glitchtechsseason3

And...

Game Wizards a la Merlock/Scorchia/Mongo (Nick Arcade) Not a Nicktoon, more of a 90's Game Show based on completing in video games where you face either of these guys in a final round showdown in a pre VR/theme park style world. Merlock with the old school wizard motif and lighting, Scorchia with her fire and fire ghosts, Mongo with his big and tough design. Either of them would be fine (moreso Merlock), although their designs need a glow up.

Going to go extremely obscure on this one: Uncle Grizzly from Grizzly Tales for Gruesome Kids. I guarantee most people won't know who he is, but Grizzly Tales was my childhood on late night Nicktoons and there would be A LOT of material to pull from from both the original show and the 2010's reboot. Throw in some things involving Spindleshanks (because let's be honest: who doesn't love Spindleshanks?) and it could be very fun.

If this is the first time you've heard of Grizzly Tales (don't blame you by the way: it was only a thing the UK and Ireland), look it up on Youtube, you will be shocked by some of the stuff they got away with showing to children. Or just go watch the Steve Reviews video on it if you want a general idea of what it is.

Two small but equally important updates has been unleashed in this game and they are...

Items!

You no longer have to only condone your way to the fighting arts to win. Use items to also secure victory.

Be careful, majority of items also affect the user.

And the second update is.. drum roll please.

Voice acting!

No longer will your Nicktoons fight in awkward silence. Hear your favorite catchphrases, grunts, taunts and cries of pain as you beat the snot of each other.

Who is super hyped for Hugh Neutron?

Heh, Sorry for the late post. Introducing a character that's been out a few weeks ago and has been given a showcase in an EVO event.

Hugh Neutron.

After the announcer gives out a thanks from the community and expresses to give out feedback. (Aww, That's nice of him.) Here's how he plays.

Hugh Newton is noted as being equipped with fast paced pie action and a master of duck fu all put together with a wonky fighting style and great air mobility.

[Extra notes: he can also fly and have a great recovery making him real hard to gimp, though his ground speed ain't that good.]

Look out Thad. Mr. Rodriguez is looking to steal your position.

[Captian Notes: Hugh is basically show references personified which started from Patrick Star Yes, that includes the banana joke. It's scary and it's awesome.]

Last but not least, the character which gave the 90's kids'll remember, Rocko.

Rocko is noted as a Zoner(?) character with makes up his lack of power with lots of projectiles and hard to predict movements.

With the last of the season pass character and the announcement of an Ultimate Edition, could this the end of the support? The trailer guy did say to look out for more stuff like this in the future but it could be fluff...

But just in case, thank you Ludocity for making a cool game. So what would a hypothetical season 2 look like? (Three characters only!) What kind of feedback would you give out to the devs? Sound off in the comments.

@Captain_Toad I have no idea, maybe if it sells well, nick will fund them more, even tho they could have always done that.

@Snatcher It's been selling well enough and popping on the discounts eShop charts, so it's very possible of this happening.

For my Season 2 I would put in

#1 Angus and Parker from Middlemost Post (need another big guy in the ranks so a recent nicktoon is a safe bet)

#2 Zuko from Avatar:TLA (People have been raving for Zuko the fire bender so why not.)

#3 Bessie Higgenbottom from the Mighty B! (mix it up with a Joker style to transform into Mighty B! or be Susannohoo/Phoenix Wright type character (Fufill conditions like getting combos or attack with a certain move to level up.)

@Captain_Toad we definitely needed more avatar reps, I got toph but what about the rest of the Gaang?

And a hypothetical final Season 3.

Jorgen Von Strangle from the Fairly Oddparents (as the musclebound toughest fairy in the universe he is easily the tallest and 2nd or 3rd heaviest of the cast [Fun Fact: fairies are known to be very light] but has armor on his attacks has his big wand for Ike-like swings/maybe throw in some range attacks like explosions idk and also has his explosion entrance and exits be his recovery obviously. Make his attacks and move kinda slow to compensate...not as slow as reptar tho) [Wait what happened to Vicky?...yeah she's more or less another Helga..not a very different game-play style compared to the DLC on offer so she wont be on this DLC.]

Miko/Hi-five from Glitch Techs: A Netflix favorite people has been raving for a continuation and a spot on this roster. The show has a bunch of movesets to pull from.

And...Norb and Dagget from the Angry Beavers: People has raving for the peeps very very much and a cult following so this is one to close out on. Probably be an ice-climbers/swap in-out type character.

Yeah where's El Tigre, Jimmy, Raphael and Donatello, etc there will be a hypothetical NASB 2 make-a-roster soon for this list.
